I just received a call from that number... the person on the other line only said something when I said Hello 3 times... he butchered my last name a few times and then he mumbled something and hung up.

Received a call from them today, on Labour Day... a National Holiday saying we were good and paid our Visa and or Mastercard bill on time for the last three months.. honestly... what kind of stupid idiot would think Visa and Mastercard are working in cohoots with each other.

I keep receiving the call but no one on the other line!!!!!

Name was partially right, asked to talk to me about my mastercard. There was lots of background noise, when I said I didn't have a mastercard he hung up.

we got the same call.  Guy said his name was Chris and hung up when we said we didn't have a mastercard.

Caller offered a rate of 2.5 to 9.5 for Visa or M.C. He said he was calling from Halifax, with this area code? I called Visa, they have never heard of this group-C.C.C.A. Credit Card Consumer Advocates. Our caller said his name was Brian Casta.

I just got this call again, I was actually able to speak to someone, who sounded like they are in India if I can guess from the time delay. The automated message that spoke to me had already started before I answered and I only heard to press 9. After that this guy came on the line telling me about the payments of the credit cards that I don't have. I asked who he was calling for and he said "Credit Card Consumer Advocates". I told him not to call again.

Ha I actually got a "Supervisor" who preceded to answering for me and I quote "Your not interested" to which I replied "of course I'm interested in lower interest rates, I merely would like to have your revenue Canada reg# your IRS reg# your business licence or anything you can tell me to certify your authority to act on my behalf. He hung up

i received a call from that number, this is the sixth call and im getting mad. First they wanted my wife to give them her visa or mastercard number, she asked his name and the gentlemen with a thick accent told her his name was joe smith. today was number six so i played along to see what he wanted and he said he would send me some paper work ing the mail for a lower intrest rate. why do they keep calling and what can be done im really tired of this.

I got the same call they wanted the expiry date of my credit card when i wouldnt give it out the lady on the line got upset with me telling me it was for my own good to give it to her, That is when i hung up sounds like a SCAM!!!

Wanted my expiry date and my credit card information. He said it was to lower my interest rates, and the call was being recorded for customer security. I would not give it to him and asked for his name and number he said it was Joe Blake, number 403-648-9228 and extension 272, but the number that came up on the phone was 647-288-1289.

called 6 times already today, I just answered the call and this guy said: my name is Max and I am a very good FRIEND of your husband's.  interesting, since I don't have a husband.  I was answering a friend's phone.  I said: if you are a very good friend of "my husband's", why then have there been five different people calling from that same number today alone.  I told the previous caller that I will report them to the police, if they call here one more time.   idiots.

Got this call on call display. I do not answer calls that I do not know.
This poor Canada allows this crap to happen and does not charge these fools any money up front to harass Canadians.They should pay $100 billion up front to harass us. That would stop it under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms which this country lives by, at least in cherished Ottawa,ON.

Got a call today from this number.  Said they wanted to lower my Visa/Mastercard rates since I have been paying my bill.  I was apprehensive and told them as much.  Told them it didn't seem right that were asking me which card, which bank and the balance and that if they asked me for my cc nbr, I would not be giving it to him.  Woman transferred me to a man who "confirmed" my address and said he would send the paperwork in the mail.  I think I scared them off.

Guy named 'Adam' at a what sounded like a call-center, claimed to be from Mastercard.  I don't have a Mastercard so I told him to delete my name and number from his call list.

Just got called from this number...  I hung up, he called back right away and he actually threatened me with "a $1000 fine for hanging up on a visa/mastercard representative"...  unbelievable...

Received a call from a male with an accent asking about my MasterCard. Three attempts to say my last name, and he still couldn't get it right. I could hear lots of people talking in the background. When I said I don't have a MasterCard he hung up.

Originally got a call from 495 211 1111 number. And after a minute, a call from  the same person “Allen” on the same topic from 647 288 1289 phone. Bla-Bla … VISA and Master Card, give me your CC number…

The previous question is not from a "Beverly". In fact it was generated to by a representative of a scam company. His effort is to slander our company. This representative has been contacted by the authorities and action is being taken. My auto agent is not a scam. It is a real business offering real services.
