We've been getting calls from this number for about two weeks now - every weekday, no message. today I picked up, and the woman asked for my wife's name, but refused to disclose to me who she was or why she was calling, even though I pointed out that I was the husband. Is there a Canadian Do Not Call list US numbers can register with?

I get about 5 calls a day over the last two weeks. Very annoying.  If they want to talk to me, they should leave a message. I called Bank of America to see if this was an authorized call. The customer service representative indicated that this was not a company that they have authorized to call on their behalf.

File a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. Maybe if enough people file, they will pursue it.

They've been calling my home for months now and typically, I've just ignored it, but now I've decided that the next time they call I'm going to only speak gibberish in high and low tones and see how long it takes for them to hang up on me.  Will they call back after that?  Stay tuned.

My Caller ID indicated a call from 1-647-288-7825.  I went online to identify the area code (concerned a distant relative might be trying to reach me), and was confused to see it was from Canada, since I have no relatives or business in Canada.  So I searched for the 288 region within Canada, and found this website complaining of a very similar number (one digit different).  I'll be irate if they call when I'm home... I have a newborn that doesn't nap easily.  There must be someway to block malicious/unwanted calls!  My phone service gives me the option of refusing calls from blocked numbers, but not blocking malicious numbers!

I finally just answered when they called.  The person I spoke with was looking for my father... who doesn't live here.  I told her that I wanted my number removed and for them to stop calling.  I also told here that Bank of America didn't know who they were.  She rambled off a website and 800 numbers and referred me to the new privacy policy.  All in all... I told her to take me off the list.  I also went to the website listed on page one of this site and placed myself on Canada's no call list.

They call 5-6 times a day.  We have an answering machine and they won't leave a message.  It's getting very annoying.  They call all day and during the evening also.

they just keep calling me at work asking me to answer a few survey questions for Bank of America. i have never had the time to answer their questions, and now i definitely won't after reading this website. thanks!

call 4 to 5 time a day, no message, if I do pick up sounds like young kids on the other end

This number calls me 2 to 3 times daily, never leaves a msg.  I have not had the pleasure of being home when they do call.  Can't wait to give them *chit*

We've been getting calls from them too. It is highly annoying.

This number calls my house between ten and twenty times per day. It's driving me CRAZY!!

calls and tells me he Represent Bank of America and needs me to give him my acct info so he can check it with the Acct info he has on file

they call numerous times to day it was two within an hour of each. there is never any reply when i pick up. icalled back today and held on for 38 minuets and all i recieved was a constant repeat of an operator explaining the call progression and when you push o for the operator is a repeat of the progression.

My wife answered phone and caller asked for her by name.  My wife said "speaking" and the caller said thank you and hung up.

CALLED @ 8:30 PM   WE WERE IN BED WE GET STARTED EARLY IN AM THEN AGAIN NEXT DAY AT 8:30 AM,  11:09 AM, 3:19 PM.  I HAVE ANSWERING MACHINE IF IMPORTANT LEAVE MESSAGE.   TIRED OF CALLS

Rude customer telemarketer said she was calling from Banc of America. She would not give me details of the call without my identifying myself; which let me know she was a telemarketer.  I told her that I was on the Do Not Call List. (which I have been since 2003) She laugh and said that I needed to be on the list for 30 days.  After I hung up, 10 mins later I received another call from the same company. I didn't answer.  When I return home I look at my id this company called me 3 additional times.

I received a call from this number yesterday at 11:07am.  I was not available to pick up the phone, but I went through my received and missed call list and this number popped up several times.
