it's one of the comwave.com company numbers. Basicly phone company aborad buys comwave modems and then charges their customers for more.

Some guy calling saying that someone with my last name filled out a survey or something. Call lasted about 2 minutes before it was cut off. I dont fill out any of those stupid coupons and crap so I suspect it might have been a scam. Especially considering they never gave a first name.

i just got a call from this number as well.. trying to tell me that i needed to be over 30 and kept asking if i had a spouse who could come with me to pick up the prize in woodbridge.. said there were five prizes, a rca tv, one week rcl cruise, 7 days orlando stay 7 day hilton stay, or $1000 cash... i didn't understand where i filled it out... he said he could not tell me where i filled it out.. name was roger... weird!  i told them i was going on holiday for a week, and they said okay, good bye, i'll call you next week and got off the phone really fast... pretty sure it was a scam as well!

call came in! No one on the phone!! I think their machinery was on the blizt as it seemed to be trying to speak but could not tell what it was about.

I could barely make out what he was saying because of his thick African accent. First he said he was calling on behalf of CBC. Then, he said I filled out a survey at Zellers and I won a gift package. It would make more sense if he had said HBC. Anyway, at the end, he told me I'm not qualified because I don't sound like I'm 30 years old. DONT PICK UP when you get this number!! IT's a scam..

I receive call from this # very often but does not speak and hangs up.

got a call... saying i entered a contest at RIBFEST for a free florida/cruise holiday. which was true... appearantly i won... but they needed my credit card info that moment else it was null!! i could hear the whole call center in the background!

Same thing. Called, asked for me then when I picked up hung up. Probably checking if contact info is correct then pass on to another

guy called. he kept sayin guess who he is for like 3min-_- and he hung up
and I texted dat number

and da text came back sayin dat its a fax number

It's from a collection agency called "Metropolitan Credit Adjusters." Recorded message asks you to call back at 1-877-788-1052, which leads you right back to one of their rude agents.

F*C* These "people" (and I use that term very loosely) are unbelievable! They just called...AGAIN. They have a system...They call my home number and when I refuse to answer it, they IMMEDIATELY...as in "Do Not Skip A Beat", call my cell phone! My cell is UNLISTED! There is NO one that would know that number but a few friends and family! I don't care if I owe some company tens of thousands of dollars... HARRASSMENT IS ILLEGAL! So is calling more then 3 times in a 7 day time period! At least in ONTARIO it is!!!

Call came in from this number ( 647-591-2018 ) Saying that he works for Duct?Furnace cleaning company. Couldn't understand him or the name of the company because of his heavy east indian accent. Asked to be removed from calling list, said he wouldn't do that. So I told him that I have his number, do a trace find out where he was calling from and talk to him face to face, he then said he'd remove my number. Nothing but scams, thanks federal government for the "Do-Not-Call List, that was a brilliant idea. NOT!

Exactly same as u described,  guy called and said he is calling from home care duct cleaning..... I told the guy that I have told u guys not to call me several time.. why u call me again I also said that I have my # on do not call list... The guy on the other side (east Indian or I beleve he is Pakistani)start abusive and start swearing called me 4-5 times...I ans and right away he start swearing, I hang up and he call again.... I call the Police and as u say they said these are east Indian companies calling from Aborad...... not much they can do about it..... Thanks to do not call list....

3 days ago I received a call from this number they didn't say anything so I hung up an next minutue I received missed call from them. Next night (2 days ago)My brother from u.s called me (his phone number always appear when he calls) but this time when my bro called me the same number appeared 647-591-2018. A lil drunk and stupid I was at the moment I ignored the fact my bro called from this number.
Next day (yesterday) my friend from Germany called. From the same number 647-591-2018. I was so confused I said hey how in the he'll your calling me from same number my bro called me from? My friend didn't know what I was talking about.
LOL should have seen this coming! My fans were listening to my conversation.

I just got a call and they called Mr. (insert my girlfriends last name)  I asked what it was about and they said they were from the local Hydro company and something about high charges?   I told them we're renters and that we don't even have the hydro in our names.  He appologized for bothering me and hung up.  Strange.
