Lady with strong foureign accent, (not easy to understand) suggesting I can qualify for lower interest rates on credit cards and debt consolidation. When asked what the cost of this service is, she stated "Nothing 'out of pocket'". However, from experience I know that the charges for this service, which actually amounts to a rip-off, are placed on a high interest credit card for which you pay a lot more in the long run than the initial charge of usually over $ 800.00 Canadian. I'd like to know the actual name of this company, because my experience has been with Myxbanker, who also promised "A money back guarentee" if they were not successful in lowering the interest rate on ALL credit cards. Needless to say, they did not comply with their promised objective, NORE DID THEY HONOR THEIR "MONEY BACK GUARENTEE". The charge for their service was made through a company called "Clear Breeze Solutions", based in the USA, and chaged in US funds. This company does not even acknowledge the transaction, much less any knowledge of a money back guarentee from Myxbanker. Incidentally, Myxbanker is now known as Keema Debt Solutions, who also refuse to accept any responsibility regarding this matter. My advice to anyone being approched by the promise of lower credit card interest is simply 'BE VERY CAUTIOUS and don't get stung like I did.

We are on Canada's National Do Not Call list.  Had a chat with a gentleman, who obviously was not from Canada, explaining how the DNC list applies to all companies worldwide.  He apologized.

just so theres no confusion in this case it wouldve been okay but unless the person is actually trying to sell u comething the dncl does not apply. for surveys and that type of [***] they dont have to abide by it because its only for telemarketers and they technically are not. so if u ever get a survey and dont want them to call back. tell them that ur a business and not a residence and u normally will be instantly wiped from at least their system.

constant calls from this number---person has thick accent and unable to understand what she is talking---when I told her yes send me a card as soon as possible because I filed for bankrupcy there was a pause and she hung up the phone---sick  and tired of these calls

replied could I speak to Mrs xxxxxxxx I said it was me, he said something about visa and other cards I said I don't have any which I don't and hung up the phone I am not ignorant normally but calls like that really peeve me off especially when the caller is so adamant, who knows what they are really up to? I have had my number on the :do not call list: since the first day.
Plus I am not a happy camper to begin with, being the long weekend and no funds, but I have been in that position for a while, but as the saying goes
"Don't tease the bear" Have a fun filled, stress free, safe weekend, keep your blood pressure normal.

Actually dnc, you are wrong. It does not matter if the person is "actually trying to sell u comething" (actually trying to sell you something)

Just got a call from them. Never picked up the phone. Saw their number on display. Will file a complaint with CRTC...

The cheap Canadian government sold its "do not call list". In other words, it sold all the phone numbers on the list to big corporations. So much for trusting your government.

This 'Business' runs in Canada(Markham Ontario supposively but probably elsewhere)& the phone number they gave verbally is:(647)-722-2381(which he gave me).I received a phone call on Oct 14th(an Unknown Number on the screen display).This gentleman(named Jason Decosto with no accent this time)called me to lower my interest rate to 3%(no fees)for my credit cards(having a so called 'good' credit rating so I 'qualified').He also mentioned this business was associated with the company Liberty Financial(it is NOT involved at all as I contacted Libertys' web e-mail and they said it was a scam!).'Jason Decosto' asked me(briefly explaining about qualifying for a lower 3% interest rate).To apply for the discount he wanted me to give my FULL CREDIT CARD NUMBER(S) OVER THE PHONE!WHAT NERVE!I did NOT give him any vital information and hung up as I knew it was a COMPLETE SCAM!!A word to the wise everyone..if you either get an UKNOWN NUMBER or this 647-722-2391 on your phone screen display...do NOT answer it!

I received a call last night from this number saying they were the Liberty International Financial group and that they could lower my interest rate from 18% to 6%... this is the second time they call me and nothing has ever happened. The name of both guys that I was talking too last night were Nick Brown and a Jason (don't remember his last name)and I kept on saying that I was not interested and they laughed in my face and continued so I played the game for about 30 minutes and at the end.. I tried to go online for their website.. which it doesn't work and I tried calling them back.. that don't work!! They also mentionned something that after I fill out all forms that I will receive in the mail in 5-10 days that my credit card will be charged 690$ (that I dont' have to pay back) the bank will pay it for me... I was so furious... I kept on saying that this was all a scam and that they don't fallow what they say... they were still laughing in my face. One good thing is that my credit card will expired in less than 5 days so they promissed they would call back next month to get my new number... so now I'll know that their website and telephone number don't work... so I will be telling them my point of view!!! They are hard to understand as they don't speak good English at all. Glad I'm not the only one!!!
