Je trouve que c'est du harcèlement.

They have called several times.  There is no name on call display; only the telephone number.  There is never a message either.

Folks., any number in an area code that ends with a 7 is a scam or telemarketer call. Pick up, do not answer, but hit 0 and let the phone lie for however long you wish. This ties up their line. Go about your day to day business, vacuum...go for a walk just tie up their line. Remember it is their call, not yours...it works!

Ah, no... that's not how it works.  There are plenty of scam and telemarketer calls from pretty much any area code, not just the ones that end in 7.  My cousin's cell phone has this area code and she is definitely NOT a telemarketer.

647 is the newest area code for Toronto cell phones and land land lines (well it been out for about 8-9 yrs now) so it is not true that area codes that end in 7 is telemarketer or a scam.

I called the number - a French language voice mail message says I have reached the customer care number of the Pink Diamond Womans Cancer Fund.  Charity fundraising.
