This number text me about a job I applied for and wanted me to call them. I have no idea who this is

This number just called me .  Did u call them?

who is this calling. I got a text and an invite to call them, but who?

Testing me about a job?  I do not want there text I am not from there area.

i recieved a text from 650-830-7263 regarding a position you applied for on our job board.... call or text 650-200-1472 TEXT STOP to cancel....

I called the number.  He stated that he was verifying the information to a job that I had applied for.  When I asked what job, he stated that information wasn't given to him.  I told him to continue.  Then he asked if I lived in Michigan; the answer is no.  I ended to call at that point.  My phone number has a Michigan area code, but my job search is not in Michigan.  That let me know that he was not legitimate.  Be Careful.  He said the company's name is careerhound.com.  It is just another job search engine.

I also just received a TEXT from this number asking me to call them about a job I applied for on their job board? I have no idea either...no name no calling back...

I just got a text from this number telling me they wanted to talk to me about a job I applied for..  I didn't apply and don't have a clue who or what it is . I didn't call, I think it's a scam.

I also received a text from this number, asking me to call or text about the job I applied for.  No idea who or where this is!!

Received a text today asking me to call about a position I applied for.  I will not call back.  If this was legitimate I think they would have called me or sent me an email.

I did not call or text stop. I just deleted the message as I hadn't applied for a job on anyone's "job board".  It kind of freaked me out though!

Thanks for the warning. I got s text today. Called back n the voice message was music for a full minute. I hung up.

Please stop the unwated texts.

650-830-7263 Got a call from this number wanting me to contact them about the job I applied for at their job board. I am unemployed now but knew this was something fishy. Turns out the fish are in Half Moon Bay, south of SF, a nice coastal community I have been to some years back. I texted back that if they could find me a job there, I would pay the debt I owe.

Thank you for posting about this number. My daughter got a call from a different number that turned out to be a fraud. Hers even involved a fake check. Be Careful!
I just got a text from this number. They said they would like to talk to me about the position I applied for on their job board.
Problem is I have only applied to known sites on Indeed and Brassring. I started my profile on LinkedIn but still haven't finished.
I wonder which one they got the info from.

I got the same message to call them in reference to a job I applied for on job board, I asked what job, no answer. I do not know this number and will not call it back.
