Zombie debt parasites

This company has called my home # approx 6 times a day and hangs up - today I was put on hold upon answering the phone. Advised this is a new home # for us and I don't know who they're looking for. Very difficult to understand person said (I think this is what they said) "We will call back later."
Ummm............

Caller ID states Blocked Number and they leave no message. I called back and the business was Northland Group INC.. the area code is San Mateo county CA.  Specialist in collecting really old debts, that they have bought really cheaply.

Caller ID said Jaina Systems but number was for Northland Group parasites. I don't owe any money but they keep calling me using different numbers. I blocked my caller ID and called them back and an Indian gentleman answered, "Northland Group." I believe Jaina Systems is a global communications provider.

Northland Group trying to collect a debt my deceased father supposedly owed.  Real lowlife, parasite scumbags.

Creepy debt collector that tries to collected OLD debts that they buy for pennies on the dollar.

Called my phone, but didn't leave a message

getting calls still for deadbeat [***] that had my current phone  3 years ago

i know!!!!!! going on 4 years for me!! it's horrible and so much work. if only the govt. would impose stricter rules on zombie debt collectors!!!

Keep calling more tha 3xs a day.

I don't know who they're looking for, but it ain't me.  

I pick up, say, "hello", hear the "pause" that lets me know it's an auto-dialer, and I immediately hang up.

Don't call me if you can't even be bothered to be on the line when I answer.

Constantly calling from different numbers

They keep calling my home but hang up instead of leaving a message.

I've been getting calls from this number for 3 years, at LEAST 3-4 times a month. Every time, i ask kindly that my number is removed from their computers and they say that it has been.
Today, I received a call (they were a week off schedule!!) and spoke to a middle eastern man. I couldn't understand a word he was saying so i asked to speak to his manager. He put me on hold for about a minute, and the same man was trying to tell me that he was the supervisor. I asked to speak to the highest ranked individual present in his office, and he put me on hold again. Then THE SAME MAN answered and said he was the manager of the office.
I know these [***] all sound the same but this clown was trying to impersonate his manager and his supervisor.
Could I take legal action on terms of harassment and the fact that he wouldnt transfer me?

I've been getting these calls last few days also and I Just never answer.  Thank god for caller ID.  I owe nothing and if they can't leave a message then they should move on.   I wish there was a way to get help with these companies.
