Called and got my recorder. Had a 'blurp' bubble sound then asked for me by my last name. I did not respond and he hung up.

Called claiming to be a bay area contractor.
Nothing but a telemarketer.  Young-ish, male, native English speaker.  Scammer.

Keep getting hang up calls, HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS111
When I called the number it states "This is not a working number"
Then how do they call me??

I just got a call, they asked if I was Mrs. Tialdi, I said yes they hung up.  Caller id Beverly McKay but a male voice

Scammer calls over and over and over again... I never answer because I looked it up!  TELEMARKETER!  And I am on a do not call registry.

I have stopped picking up the phone for names I do not recognize. Certain companies set up "bots" to call millions of numbers for the purpose of determining whether each number is a "live" number. Live numbers have monetary value to telemarketers. When you answer, the bot knows that your number is a live number.....and your number is then on a list to be sold to telemarketers.  

This number calls me several times a week saying that their father is a contractor working in my area.  They know my name and address. Even though I've told them many times I'm not interested in getting any estimates and to please take me off their list, they still call repeatedly.  Sometimes the contractor name is Mike Curtis, other times last name is Porter.

Some lady calls me and tells me the same story.  Of course they are not in your area; they are just looking for leads.

Illegal robocall. Telemarketer.

caller ID says out of area..................left no message......
I never ans. a 650 that says out of area.  because this is my area and I therefore know that this is a number that is no good and is prob..out of service.   (I forget the proper word for this type of #)

ID said Unknown. I let answering machine get it and they hung up.
