Another Card Holder - 23 Nov 2007My Chase card had several unauthorized charges. Most were less than $20. One was from IP-SalesByWeb.com for $220. Chase called me when they started getting these suspicious purchases. Since most were so small, I asked the Chase rep what "flagged" the small charges as suspicious. I routinely by lots of stuff online, and those past charges never prompted a phone call from a Chase fraud agent. He told me that the expiration dates were wrong. Humm…. Does this mean that these scum bag crooks just need to randomly generate a 16 digit number until it happens to match some ones valid credit card number?

My charge card is on hold because there is a charge for $220. Their contact info goes to a support website that you have to enter your credit card info into. The phone number goes to an answering machine. Odd that the other person who logged this phone number has the exact same charge listed. HUGE FRAUD

I was never called by these people.... but MY debit card was charged $220.00 as well! I've never been to heir website until now, and never entered my card info into their "help" center. I am disputing the charge, and am getting a new bank card issued. I think my local Chinese restaurant delivery guy may have copied my info, since that is the only place who writes down the number ON the receipt (in triplicate). I'm not sure how this website figures into this, but they are scamming or helping scammers somehow.

me - 20 Oct 2007On 10/17/2007 a charge was posted to my account in the amount of $220 by IP-SALESBYWEB.COM. I contacted my bank the the afternoon following my discovery-10/19/07 and they advised me of the phone number to contact and it is 650-249-5269. I called it and got a recording from a male Australian fellow saying to leave a message because their regular business hours were ?-? Central Australian Time. I then called my bank and cancelled my card. They advised me to notify the police and file a report, which I have not yet done. I left a message with this Live-Operator.com before I even thought this through. They have not called me back as of yet. I use paypal on rare occasions but haven't lately. I do pay my mortgage online as well as my phone and cable bill. I recently bought a monitor for my computer from BestBuy.com but other than that, I have no idea where they got my debit card number. Live- Operator.com has emailed me and stated that they are just a billing service, but they have not remedied this yet. I also looked up that phone number and found other complaints for the same amount of money on 800notes.com along with other numbers that are one digit off with the same result. I never visited the site before they took my money and I never authorized anything other than what I mentioned before. The charge on my card showed up and then I started researching the information.

Ken - 24 Oct 2007I had the same $220.00 charge show up on my credit card on 10/22/2007. Again IP-SALESBYWEB.COM. It must be a relatively new scam because a Google search only brought up the one post by "me".

gg - 8 May 2008exactly the same way it happened to me. the first was 10 bucks then what made me suspicious and prompted me to call my bank was the second for 8 cents, go figure. guess i got off lucky. any suggestions from your experience??? thanks

another one - 14 Nov 2007Our Visa check card was hit for $220 on 11/06/07. Our bank didn't even recommend filing a police report, but now that it's mentioned... We use ours to pay multiple bills online.
We've cancelled our card and are switching banks (because they were AWFUL during this, not because the number was stolen).

Logan - 6 Jan 2008on jan 5th my wife and I were checking out our bank online to check what's been paid and what not and happened that my wife got charged first $1.51 and then the next charge was $309.11 out of no where, this happenes to her and I sure enough got furious. Can't do nothing but sit and wait till monday to go to the bank. the statement on the account was this 02JAN2008 GTSALESSUPPORT.COM. I checked it out from the website and got their number and it came to your site and I can't believe that its the same number so I just did a whois and seem to be from the west indies.

They charged me $97. The charge was under GTSALESSUPPORT.COM, with a telephone # 605-963-5506. The number doesn't work either. I am disputing the charge and canceling my card.

Adam - NY - 23 Feb 2008I saw an ad in the local penny saver for data entry job online and I registered for it at www.bigpaywork.com and paid them $97 only to find out that it was a scam, and I reversed the charge on my credit card. (I used shopsafe, so my real credit card # was not used). The company trying to charge my card was GTSALESSUPPORT.COM. If you google www.bigpaywork.com youll find a lot of info about this huge scam.
