unfamiliar number - I answer the call and no one speaks....

have been receiving calls, but no one leaves a message

Just received a call from this number.
Had to say "hello" 3 times before any reply.
They asked for my wife by first name (rudely).
She wasn't here so I asked if I could take a message.
They hung up on me!!

I just got a call from this number on my cell phone.  Had to say hello twice and they asked for my dad by his first and last name.  I told them he's not here and that I'm his son and this is my cell phone number.  Then the lady asked to talk to my dad and I told her again this is my cell phone and he's not here and she said ok never mind and then hung up.

I got a call from this # 650-257-2223 Said hello twice and they hung up. Then called back couple hours later and did the same thing.

been getting daily calls from this number for probably two weeks now, answered it the first maybe two times, once to an asian sounding lady speaking a different language then next time when i answered it started ringing and took me to some kind of message...but just now a guy with a heavy accent named michael smith (yeah right) claiming to be from piedmont financial service asking me about mortgage info on my house, only problem is i'm not the homeowner, it's my parents house.  i don't know how they got my address or phone number for that matter but all i said was i was getting tired of the calls and he said they would never call again

i just got a call from these a'holes at 2:00 a.m.  yes a.m.  called back and their mailbox is full...go figure.  Call waiting says IP Communication.

When you phone rings at 2:52 in the morning it scares the crap out of you! No legitimate buisness person calls during this hour! Clearly they are people who want $$$ not customers!!!

Im not surprised that the mail box is full. Im sure all the other people they have scared in the middle of the night have told them to GO TO HELL!!!
If I could leave a message I"D let my screaming toddler do it!!!

Have been receiving numerous calls during the day and evening from 650-257-2223 with IP Communication showing up on the caller ID.  Then at 0300 hrs this morning they called my house again.

My mother received a call at her home this morning at 2:58 am.  Scared her at first, then made her so angry she couldn't go back to sleep.  This is the latest in a daily barrage of calls lasting for the past month or so.  Her experience has been similar to the ones reported here.  What can we do to these idiots to stop them in their tracks and make them pay for their illegal practices?
