Missed Calls. No messages early morning and late at night.

anyone know who this is?  they came with my liz fly calls

Missed calls throughout the call. Called at 9pm and it went immediately to a voicemail box prompting me to leave my number so that customer service will not call me anymore. Went to a California number - strange.

Got a call at 10:00am from this number and left no message.

After multiple missed calls, disconnects, etc. I finally picked up and a guy told me he was calling from the San Francisco Chronicle, asking about my recent subscription. I haven't subscribed and told him so. He had my name and address and asked if they were correct, then asked me if anyone else could have ordered the newspaper. I told him no. When I call the number, it says 'Thank you for calling customer service. If you would like to be removed from our list, please enter your phone number.' The whole thing is odd.

My experience has been very similar to Julie Kay
I get repeated calls from this number in the morning and later in the evening. Whenever I respond to the call, the call is disconnected. After a few times I tried to call back this number, it says 'Thank you for calling customer service. If you would like to be removed from our list, please enter your phone number.'

Also, the similarity with Julie is that I subscribed to San Francisco Chronicle through a high-school student who was selling subscriptions to get  points to get money to go to college. He did mention that the newspaper office would call to confirm is the name, address is a valid one. I do not know if the San Francisco Chronicle  has an automated system to keep checking on the phone number!!!!

This number has been calling but no one answers when I pick up.
Best part is I live in Canada

Just received a call from this number at 6:48pm in Boston MA. They claimed that they were calling from the publishers of Verizon Yellow Pages Directory Service.

They asked if I was in receipt of my current Yellow Page directory for my town. When I answered that I was in receipt and was not in need of anything additional, they ceased with any questions.

I did find that the individual did not disconnect from the line however when I went to call their number back a minute later. I assume they are using an automated dialer for this reason.

I get these calls too, turns out it is a collection agency trying to locate dead beats... They use false info to try and find out if you are who they are looking for.

I have been getting calls from this number for months. They keep asking for someone who has never lived at this address (I live in a new home). When I tell them this and ask to be taken off their call list they just say they can;t do that. I wish someone would just put their number on an autodialer and keep it from calling out :)

I keep getting calls from this number as well. They started a few days ago and it is now 11 April 2008. It's a pain! Same thing, one in the morning and one in the evening, no message left. I tried to call it back this afternoon and it went straight to the customer service message, which I let play. That played twice, and then it just disconnected.
