i just hung up, don't answer calls from unknown numbers

Robocall recording imploring me to verify my Google listing.  It was a new recording though, not the typical call from "Ashley".

It's a scam. They want to update your google account to attract more hits. They want $500 and they aren't even associated with google.

Hang up if they call!!!!

Caller ID says Listing Service . They aren't google . It's a scam .Our names are on the internet without us paying a dime .

This is a SCAMMER….these people are telemarketers trying to scam you, they are NOT Google. Do NOT press any buttons, just hang up & BLOCK them. Google will not:
1) Place automated sales calls
2) Ask you to update your front-page listing or claim your free website
3) Ask you to pay to be included in Google Search or Google My Business
ALSO NOTE The only reason the REAL Google would be calling you is if YOU called or contacted them first & they will supply you with a PIN Code!

650-662-1378 just called our business. Caller ID said "Redwood City CA". Answered the call and it was an illegal robocall claiming to be calling us from "Google". Lies. Google does NOT call you.  Reporting the call and blocking the number immediately.

I Just learned how to use call blocking on our office land line (actually VOIP). Dial * 60, wait for the prompt Dial # 0 1 # , that blocks the last number that called you, wait and make sure that call blocking is on.  If it is not on, dial "0" for main menu and follow the prompts to turn on call blocking

Just had a call from this number, foreign accent, appearing to represent aol and danger to my account...false!  I finally hung up

This number calls at least once a week.  I never answer and they don't leave a message.

Called @ 10:56am. There was no one on the other end of the line and then it disconnected. I'm so tired of all these bogus phone calls. There are no repercussions for them harassing businesses either because the DNC does not pertain to business numbers. They can call and spoof any number they want as long as they call a business. Too bad we cannot find out where they really are and start a class action lawsuit for harassment.

Caller id showed VOIP Caller. I don't answer calls I don't recognize, and when the answering machine picked up, it was a recording, which I cut off as soon as I could, and deleted it. Scammers. While it only wastes a few seconds out of my day, it is still time wasted when I could be working.

Shelly - says she is with PDS.  She must be new.   She was polite and didn't hang right up.  She said our business listing looks fine.  It does not need to be verified and she will take us off her list.  I KNOW it is fine.  I went to the GOOGLE DASHBOARD and did everything there for FREE.  The hardest thing about Google Dashboard is FINDING it.  It walks you thru everything.
