GREEN CLEANING  a new SPAM SCAMMER, BLOCKED!

Called and did not leave a message, nor answered when I said Hello.

Blocked number.   Got call just now

They call the time, but don't a message. Pretty sure it's a marketing/scram.

No message left. Will block...

No message left.  Blocking...

Same old don't answer - no message

Rings 3 times, no message.
Note: I have a "Call Blocking" feature on my phone; used *60 and followed the instructions to block specific numbers from calling again.  Also added a few other numbers which keeps calling (robo calling).  Call Blocking *60 is an AT&T feature blocking -- other wire line companies will have similar feature.
I will keep adding these numbers and new ones.  At a minimum, it is a relief from these numbers until they move onto another number; some calling multiple times a day.

When I looked up the area code, expecting it to be Florida or something, it was (apparently; I'm aware numbers can be spoofed) a near-ish town where we used to get lots of calls from to "rent the apartment" we advertised in the paper.  Except we didn't advertise anything in the paper.  We eventually figured out they were dialing our number from within my area code, and the apartment was in the other area code; let the Paper know it should include area code in all WantAd listings.  Problem solved.

Except not.  Cause now they want to clean my apartments?  I DON'T HAVE ANY APARTMENTS!!

Thank you for that information about AT&T ... we have AT&T, however, this service was not available.  We have land-line service with them, not the VOIP so perhaps that is the reason.  Just wanted to post a note here in case others try.

I did not answer the phone - I knew it would just be some sort of solicitation.  The caller hung up.

Caller ID was "Clean Service", I answered, someone said Hello, then hung up.

A tip get a Google voice number for free which will then email with messages you if you need to advertise anything for sale or rent or otherwise publish your phone number

You can block these calls all you want and they will continue to call you using other numbers. Telemarketers now use unassigned phone numbers that they can easily get through other services. Thsese numbers can be used one time only and there are millions of them.

Foreign accented caller claims to be from North Bay Heating & Air (we live in Northbay) and calling for heating and a/c update repair.  We have never done business (nor does a business with that phone number) with them but insisted they had done the last service. They had street address although address is not published. Think they are using Blockshopper or another property service to get address..

If they are not trying for your money on a phony repair, they are trying for identity theft. Do not do business with them.

The East Indian guy ID'd himself as "Fred from the Green Clean Cleaning Co" and offered a cleaning for $29.99 special. He is suspicious to me because I don't know many East Indian guys named Fred and he was very persistent and talked very fast. I told him to buzz off, go away, and leave me the hell alone!

or maybe "San Jose Carpet Cleaning special $85 for 3 rooms steam clean Carpet and Upholstery cleaning" ?
