I get persistent calls from this number, never a message.  Regret giving Direct Buy my cell phone number.  Thank goodness I didn't give them my husband's real number, although they pressured me to.  He'd have had a coronary by now.

I also keep getting calls from this number.  I didn't know it was Direct Buy.  That really sucks.  These [***] need to stop calling busy people.

Thank you so much for posting this! I've been curious to see who it was since they keep calling but never a message.  Now i won't feel bad at all ignoring the phone call!

Have no idea who they are and how they got my home number. Persistent calls.. my home answering machine should tell them no one is home. Why keep calling several times after they keep getting the machine? And they go my cell phone number too now...

This is a home furnishing company. Received a call this afternoon but they didn't leave any msg on voicemail.   I called them back and let them know I got a call from them and wanted to know why.  Their operator transferred me to the "reservations department."  The agent answered my call and asked if I could please hold, and placed me in Muzak limbo before I could respond negatively.  
After five minutes of the 101 Strings reunion, the agent came back and asked if she could help me. I let her know about my curiosity as to why her company had placed a call to my business line unsolicited. She said it was my wife or another family member, and I said no, because this is my private cell. The agent next suggested that I requested it by filling out some form online. I said no again I did not fill any form.  
At this point she requested I hang up so she could call me back and let me know why I was called.  I did so and waited a few minutes for her call.
She called and said they were trying to send me a voucher to visit their showroom.  I said not interested thx fer calling.

After multiple calls and no message I called back, asked to speak to someone to have my number removed (for the 2nd time) and hope they get the message. I suggest you do the same, otherwise they start calling 5 times a day or more.

And yes, it is Direct Buy furniture warehouse.

This number calls our house everyday sometimes three times in a row within minutes of each other, it is annoying, it comes up on caller ID as Silica D, I just figure if it is important they would leave a message, they don't so I looked up the number and it is Direct Buy with whom I have had no dealings. I blocked this number but they still call (thank goodness it only rings once, then they are blocked) everyday, sometimes the 3X in a row, I am on the NO CALL list it doesn't do any good.

I keep getting phone calls between 1-3 a day, but no messages are left. I didn't know it was Direct Buy, thanks for everyone's informative posts.

Yep, direct buy i's annoying and continuously call me day in day out few times a day. Don't fill out any info online, just look for furniture elsewhere, and you most likely won't be haunted like me and everyone else in these posts.

getting repeated phone calls, including saturdays and sundays.

It is hard to believe that in the "age if the internet" there are still people that think the best way to do business is call people on the phone, UNSOLICITED. I think most of us know how to get in touch with companies we want to do business with. They call my house even when I am on the NDC list and they flood my business cell phone with calls all day. I guess if you call enough numbers you get someone to "bite". While I was tying this, I got two more calls from solicitors that don't leave a message. Of course if they did, they know we will never call back. Whenever I DO call back and actually get someone, and advise them to stop calling, it is quiet for a few days and then they start calling again. Geez...
