Found a name associated with this number on PrivacyStar website:  Landstrass D

second time "D Lanstrass " has called my number in a week.
No message left--when I called the number there was a message stating that the phone had been "disconnected and was no longer available"

Have received two messages from 'D Lanstrass' 650 9486269.  
I was not at home the first time, early afternoon 11/13/13, no message left.
I answered the second time, today, 11/19/13, midafternoon, and a voice said, "goodbye" when I said hello.  When I called back, a message said "this number has been disconnected and is no longer in service"
So I blocked the number with my Comcast voice service.  
My number has never been listed.

They call me everyday in the mid afternoon. There's always silence when I answer. What gives? It appears to be a Mountain View, CA prefix for the phone number. I'd sure like to know who's behind the calls coming from that number.

received a call from this number today, at my san jose home. it only said "goodbye" after i said hello twice.

is there a place to report calls such as these? clearly they are mining for something. i wonder what that could be?

Got a call from this number a woman was trying to sell me some sort of service for a heater.  I politely told her I wasn't interested and she hung up on me!  I was as nice as can be and she was quite rude.

Some idiot trying to con me into having my duct work cleaned. I asked her if she'd like me to "service her ductwork."

No message left.  What idiot calls early on a Sunday morning.  There ought to be a law against weekend idiots calling like this and then just hanging up!

Got call from 650-948-6269, I said hello, but no response.  I called the number back but got a repeating message that said it was disconnected. Frustrated that someone out there is doing this.

Got a call from 650-948-6269, caller ID said D. Landstrass.  The person hung up, I called back but got recording that the number has been disconnected.  I called the other 2 numbers lah posted above but those numbers were also disconnected.

Same number is calling my house daily as well after I looked up Ms.Landstrass I wasn't surprised to learn she has multiple aliases :    Deborah D Landstrass

This screams scam and needs to be reported ASAP.

This number worked for Deborah Laudstrass.  I got the answering machine.

I answered a call from this number this morning (Monday). A woman said that I had my heater inspected two years ago and it was time for another inspection. I said I didn't recall ever having the heater serviced before. She said there were two other phone numbers linked to my service address and one of them had paid for the service the time before. I said she should contact them and they could call me. We were disconnected in the middle of her next sentence or maybe she just hung up. I suspect this is a scam as I've been at this address for a dozen years and have never had the heater serviced.  

650-948-6269 was disconnected over 5 years ago.  I called ATT and they said that they cannot do anything about a disconnected number.  I have sent several e-mail messages to the Reverse Telephone Lookup.   I would very much like to know how to make this stop myself.

I reported to PrivacyStar that this telephone number was disconnected 5 years ago.  ATT says they cannot do anything about a number that has been disconnected.

This telephone number was disconnected five years ago.  ATT says they cannot do anything about associations with prior with telephone numbers.
