Ebay sucks!! They should not charge you until you sell the Item! It is not our fault that our items never get seen. They were cool when they first came out but now you can not even find any good deals! I can buy the products in the store with a warranty for the same price. I am going to start a website called boycott-ebay.com Where users who want to sell things for free can without getting charged. Well thanks for listening to me vent!

Frist off if you would have read the user agreement with ebaby, they DO state to you that regardless if the item sells that you ARE held responsible for the advertisment on it-- just like a news paper-- would you call up a news paper company and yell at them because no one responded to your ad with them? dont think so-- second off it's all how you post your item, if you dont use certian key words people wont see your item even if it's EXACTALLY what their looking for so yes it is your fault and not ebays. take a couple minutes and think about it.

"Frist??" "ebaby??" "advertisment??" "news paper??" "certian??" "wont??" "EXACTALLY??" "their??"

Hey GENIUS, take a couple minutes and think about this:

DON'T post online in a sanctimonious manor when you clearly CAN'T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH!!

Go back to your local elementary school and learn how to speak and write FLUENTLY, spell CORRECTLY, and use grammar and punctuation PROPERLY.

DO THAT INSTEAD of trying to chastise people online who are CLEARLY TEN TIMES more intelligent than yourself! Or don't heed my advice and continue to look like the horse's a** that you are. Bravo. Thanks for the laugh!! We all enjoyed it! Nothing better than a moron drawing attention to his OWN stupidity!

I believe you meant 'manner', not 'manor'.  Some folks don't type well - doesn't mean their ideas are invalid.  I found your post rude if in fact you are a teacher.

          LJ's 1st grade teacher-

When you misuse the word "manor" after using "sanctimonious" and spelling both correctly, it becomes painfully obvius to everyone that you have spell check. Unfortunately for you, it also becomes painfully obvious that you are relying on it, rather than on your own stunted vocabulary. LJ is correct- if you cannot advertise your own product and get it noticed, don't blame Ebay. I have sold MANY things on Ebay, and have no issues with it. Don't come here and make others feel bad because no one wants to buy your second hand crap that you don't know how to list effectively.

What are you really mad at?? A normal, stable individual would find it impossible to react that way to simple grammar/typing errors...FACT! What could make you that verbally abusive...i mean from a stability standpoint!??
It appeared that LJ was simply explaining what you had a problem reading...interesting...

By the way my son got a call from the same number and I feel for all who have been financially put off by the circumstantial variables that can rare their ugly heads in any online transaction. Stay strong and keep the love!

        • ebay rips off, became corrupt replies to LJ's First Grade teacher
          27 Feb 2010
lol good point on the spelling. Ebay for sure has gotten more corrupt over the years and they started out with good intentions but soon started ripping off people's paypal account. I know one person that got charged thousands of dollars little by little out of their account and it came back with Chinese address but when they went and hired someone to trace them, it came back to San Jose California to none other then ebay. I have been a seller on there for quite awhile and did fairly well but its the lack of their integrity and honesty that took me off their site. They also started to reject certain banks that would not CONFORM to their liking, even banks that have been around a heck of a lot longer then them, and so they have tried to use legal and sometimes illegal muscle antics to conform folks. Not only that, but they also do NOT give any guarantee how they list your items so that you know they are being shown fairly, in fact more times then not you will look for your own item listed and even when typing in the EXACT search results, the items are not showing up. They favor some over others, and they say to heck with the little guys and they try to say they are being more fair but in fact are more and more unfair in their new rules and regulations.

Yep, another eBay employee controlling forum talk. It's all the 'sellers' fault, right?

Someday eBay is gonna collapse and then you'll be back down here with the sellers that eBay put out of business with their TOS tactics, then we'll see what's up. In the meantime, keep sucking Donahoes d*ck while he pats you on the head and tells you what a good boy you are.

We'll be down here waiting for you.

Go for it! I am sick of Ebay too!! I am stuck with an outrageous bill to pay because the items didn't sell only a couple. I spoke to a representative before actually opening a store and she gave me wrong information. She told me tht I wouldn't be charged unless I sold something. I even asked her if she was sure about that and the twit said yes! And now I am stuck with this bill to pay and I don't know how to pay it. I even offered payment arrangements and they won't take it! Ebay sucks!!!

they don't even have many that speak English and their customer service is horrifying. They lie, switch you over from person to person, and you can call and get one agent to tell you one thing and then another agent another thing, then call back and talk to two different supervisors who give yet two more responses that are completely different. If they don't like the caller, they literally hang up on you. They are collecting too much money in not only their fees but folks are missing money from their paypal accounts. Also I know sellers that have had thousands of dollars frozen for NO reason.. Their response "Its for security reasons" and NOTHING else is said, so then the person has to either wait 6 months to get their funds OR, they have to hire an attorney to un-freeze their account. I have nightmare stories to tell from various sellers. They have for sure become very corrupt and their so called security is ONLY their to cover their own butts and has NOTHING much to do with making sure your account is safe.

Ebay is a shell of what it was- Now, if you list any item-you will get emails from Nigerians wanting to do a deal outside ebay. Then if you sell an item, a Nigerian will contact you to ship it to Europe in 24 hours, then they reverse the paypal payment. Its a scam- ebay knows it. They will still charge seller fees even when they cancel your auction because someone bid with a fake account. its a complete rip off. Ebay should be brought up on fraud charges- Meg Whitman is a cow.

Man, I hear ya!!! If you ever do, let me know, I hate Ebay with a passion! Did you know that they now own PayPal and is the very reason Ebay will not let you accept any other payment other than PayPal. You can't advertise that you wish to be paid by Money Order or Check anymore, cause then, they can't make their money on you yet again! You're right, there hardly is any good deals out there anymore. It seems that Ebay caters to the Store Owners and Power Sellers and weeding the little people like you and I out. Everything is a "Buy it Now" instead of letting people start a small bid and getting a great deal. Wish someone would come out with something comparable because they do, unfortunately, own the market! I owe them fees now on about 75 items that didn't sell and probably didn't get looked at that often. You're right, we shouldn't have to pay if it doesn't sell, it doesn't cost them anything for us to list items, let them make money when we sell things, I would be fine with that! Thanks for letting me vent to your vent!

Actually, ebay has owned paypal for a very very long time. There has been numerous lawsuits as well against them. I remember that I was asked to be in a class action lawsuit when they were lying to folks saying that ebay had nothing to do with paypal and that they were separate companies but they always have been one company, but doing fancy dance steps on their book work.
