received six calls today alone from this number.  throw in 605-355-5649 and "unavailable" and i have been harassed twenty-six (26) times between 10/06 and 10/15/08.  all hours of the waking day, fortunately, not during sleep.  probably creditors or collectors and probably in a non-english country with non-english callers with english names, however.

Yes, I get the same.  I have answered multiple times but nobody responds.  I just received on about an hour ago this morning.  I now just let it ring then delete.  This started about 2-3 weeks ago and I can't get it traced...only leaves 'unknown'.

GE Money Bank

Someone called my phone from this number. I didnt answer it but they left a message. It was someone just sitting there.......waiting for me to "pick up" my cell phone? Then at the end, I heard someone say, "Hello? Hello?" Then they dropped the call.

I got a call from this number and decided to call back to see what the deal was. A guy answered the phone and informed me that it was from GE Money bank. Specifically about my CareCredit card.

I received a blank voicemail from this company and although I don't know who it is, GE Money Bank would make sense because I do have a loan with them.

I just received one of these calls on my cell.  No voicemail and I have not called back.  If it isn't important enough for them to leave a message, it isn't important enough for me to speak with them.

It's GE Money Bank for Care Credit. Good luck on speaking with someone that can speak and understand english. Don't make deals with them on taking money out of your bank account monthly for your payments. They did that to me and they didn't tell me they were going to post payments the day after they were due so you would get a $39 late charge. Then when you call back to discuss they have no idea what you are talking about.

It is infact GE MONEYBank... Just pay your bills and they wont call you. Your all pathetic. You can stop the phone calls for as little as $5 a month.

They actually called me regarding activity on my account that is fully paid, but thanks for trying.

it is sad to call others pathetic.   i personally am always ontime with my bill and they still call me.  so keep your nasty opinions to yourself.

I'm with you, BigBen.  One should learn English and grammar before using the internet to demonstrate to the world one's ineptitude at both.

I do have a CareCredit account and it is very likely my payment is late, so I agree with the previous posts regarding the call source.  I am also awaiting my coinsurance invoice from recent back surgery.  Stuff happens.

What you fail to realize, Matchoo, is that it's obvious to everyone that you wouldn't be reading this random page on the internet unless you received a phone call from this number, too.  Your rude self-righteousness falls flat, although I'm happy for you that you can afford $5 per month.  Way to go.

I was fortunate to pay them off in Oct. Now they want to charge for what they are claiming is interest for July - ?  If the total amt was paid in full, then why to the want to collect on money that rolls over from month to month.

Hey, we've been getting calls from them for weeks, AND WE DO NOT EVEN HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH GE MONEY BANK.  They ask for someone we do not know, WHO even lives in another area code!  I kept asking them questions to try to find out why they are harrassing us.

We do have the same last name, and we explain EVERY time they call that this person does not live here--we do not know this person, etc.  THEY STILL CALL.  We blocked our phone line for calls with no caller ID and/or phone number, and they still called today!  Our phone co. says it is not guaranteed unless the caller is one of THEIR customers!  What--the entire world has to be their customer for the block to work??

I am keeping a record and have reported it to the state atty gen office.

$5 a month?  Please explain.  They offered me a 6 month plan to pay a certain amount and even when you pay that, on time, you're still charged late fees each month and the collection calls (from India - I asked the guy since I couldn't understand him if he was in India and he said yes) do not stop.
