contacted by a Mrs. Wilcocks said i owe allied checking company over 500 dollars to this company. I was told that i had to contact her again at 2pm to be recorded and to decide how i wanted to settle this debt. The amount had to be settle today, but when i told her wouldnt have it she insisted i borrow it. She also indicated that the company had been contacting me since 2008 at an old apartment address but she could not give the city or state or apartment number for that matter to verify any conc rete information. I went to the allied web site and there is a scam alert on there page that indicate that they do not except payment over the phone.

Same this as above from 2007, sounds fishy to me and she told me I needed an attorney.  I asked for her info and she hung up on me

Got a call from 651-327-6801.  She ask if I knew (my son's name)  she gave me all the details of his bad check.  Funny she found me but not my son.
I gave him the number and they appear to know a lot about him, but , another man was on the line and wanted his DL number and etc.  
My son told them he wanted a copy of the check.
Strange and we are still investigating them.  It smells, bad checks are prosecuted locally not over the phone from Minnesota.
Her name was Ashley Davis and when I returned to talk to her, one time she talked to me and the next time l left her a message to call me and she failed to do so.

funny i knew it was a scam.. as they are not on the internet.. couldnt find their name anywhere..and they call from magic jack..not normal..and i called the better business bureau in minnisotta they cant find them either.. there is no business named that..and for me not to pay then.. said i had an account with lakeland bank in 07...i had an account with them in the 80's but not in the 90's or 2000's like they said..didnt tell her that..though..and i wasnt even living near one.. and said i applied for a payday loan which i never did..i looked for one but found they were very expensive..so be careful if the BBB doesnt have them and they are using magic jack they are not legitimate..not sure if that was the real name or not..also threatened me that i would have to pay immediately over the phone..the more i looked into them the more i am glad i didnt give them my bank info..
