Called and did not leave a message.

Have had these people calling for months. Wife gave money to police charity 2 years ago, and they are relentless. Have talked with them on the phone and told them several times to put me on the NO-Call list, to no avail.

Called, asked for me by name, picked up and then the caller hung up. Strange

We, too, cannot seem to shake these people.  Repeated removal requests unheeded.  Finally contacted the MN Chiefs of Police today (7/16/07) to let them know how 'their' people are acting - we'll see what they have to say...

Yes they call constantly from many different # no matter what you say they don't stop even on weekendsI know I will never donate again!!!

I have received phone calls from 651-389-4085. They ask for my husband and I tell them that he isn't available, is there something I can help you with. They tell me no and hang up. They keep calling and hanging up. I have no idea who it is. This really needs to stop.

Safety Services is evil.  They have been calling repeatedly for 9 months on and off.  Since I often have to sleep at odd times, but must respond to emergency calls, they are hurting me.  All of us should complain until a law is passed to stop these people who are evidently not subject to do not call!

I have received numerous caller IDs on this number. I finally picked up on the call today (Sunday) and a fellow went through his routine asking for donations for a MN State Highway Patrol Program for seventh graders. When he was verifying our address, he was totally wrong and I explained that he had the wrong phone number attached to his address and he should look up the correct party in the phone book. He then just said "Okay, thanks" and hung up. Seriously, is this the MN State Highway Patrol? I doubt it. I will be adding this number to my list of incoming blocked calls.

I have had Safety Services calling me for months now. I pick the phone up and set it down on the counter, I can hear them saying my name. I have also had my son answer the phone and they ask for me and he says no, then they hang up. You are right they are relentless. I too, gave to the Police charity in the past and have been haunted by that ever since.

I just received a call from this number today also. I declined to participate in the conversation other than to order them to put me on their do not call list. The calls are coming from a company called Safety Services which was previously known as Safety Awareness. They are located in West St. Paul, MN near the intersection of Robert Street and Wentworth Avenue in a multi-use office building near the northeast corner of the intersection. I used to work for them as a telemarketer for 4 months and know of what I speak. I have since left that industry permanently. I basically told them that I know "where they live". We'll see if they get religion. I invite all of you to report them to authorities with this information. Let's get these people shut down ASAP. The last time I checked, their office manager was Don Hobbs. As a general rule, NEVER donate to ANYONE over the phone who solicits you. The stated charity only gets about 3% max and the rest goes to the telemarketing firm. If you want to give to a reputable charity, do it online or by mail.

They also keep on calling me for months now. Asked them over and over again to take my number off their list. They call with 4 different numbers, at least once a day. Claim to collect donations for the MN police. Meanwhile I answer the phone and hang up right away again - I am just tooo tired to deal with them. I don't know how to make them stop calling. And I never donate money over the phone anyways!!!

Awhile back, like over a year ago, they were calling relentlessly.  At all hours.  They would call, and when we answered they would hang up.  Or they would ask for me, and my husband would give me the phone and they would hang up.  Or, sometimes they called and if my husband said I was not there, they would hang up.  This went on for MONTHS.  At the time, only a phone number showed up.  So, I thought I had a stalker or something.  I did the *57 on the phone every time they called, and then called the police.  They looked into it, and then I stopped getting calls.  Well, TODAY I see them on the caller ID.  I plan to do the *57 (but they have to be the last caller for it to work), and then call the police again.  I think last time they said I have to do the *57 call trace thing several times before contacting them.  I tried doing the call blocking on our phone, and it does not work.
SERIOUSLY thinking of getting our phone number changed and unlisted and unpublished because of these freaks.  
My fault for giving them money in 2003 right after my friends brother was killed in the line of duty.  I will never give again to anything or anyone over the phone or in the mail!

They just called and I could barely hear the person that was on the other end of the line.  They referred to me by my last name.  When I told them that I couldn't hear him, he just hung up.

Safety Services LLC is at 750 Transfer Rd., St. Paul, MN right next to the Amtrak station.  Their phone number is 651-917-5300.  Evidently since they are collecting for charity, they think that harassment of you is justified--even if you have an unlisted number and are on the national do not call list.  They will only speak with the name on the phone bill.  Call them or stop in to insist that they remove your number.  They may lie to you.  However, I have gotten them to stop calling at least for a few weeks.  Evidently, your number is in their computer that keeps dialing you.  We should all speak to our representatives until a law is passed against these parasites who repeatedly disturb our lives.
