This phone number has called my phone several times looking for an Arron or Erin baker. im not sure they are looking for  girl or boy. Every time the person who called is different, and most of the time its a guy calling but a few times its been a girl. the first call i got from this number was right after i got my new number, and that was in august of 2007.

Got the same calls from that number.

The prefix is primarily used by Truman State University and a number of TSU/NMSU grads have reported getting calls on other websites.  I will report the pattern of calls to the TSU IT department, since there is no answer it may be somehow tied in to computer system.  The prefix is also used by some State of Missouri offices in Kirksville.  If it's not a TSU number, I may report it to Jeff City!

I suspect it is their once a year fundraising drive.

I think Tel Alumni should know that as I am an alumni, I was forced to go back to school to get a degree for a job that makes some sort of money.  Go away, Tel Alumni, unless you'd like to pay for my Master's degree! :)

I'm a Truman alum as well. Telemarketing efficiency likely calls two or three numbers at a time and the person can only talk to one at a time. It won't answer on a call-back. Aggravating, but they are legit. Send 'em a little!

It's Truman State's dummy phone number that shows up whenever a long distance phone is called by any Truman Phone, so it would and could be anyone on campus from any department or room who has a Truman Phone number.

660-785-2399  calls and does not leave a message or respond when we answer.  I looked on Truman State U list of numbers and do nto see it.  so unsure who it is....???

I like how even though the above posts adequately identify that the number is from Tel Alumni, idiots continue to ask the same question (623-584-6101).

The 660-785-2399 is a State of Missouri exchange number.  This number will come up on the caller ID but if you return a call to this number, it will ring and never connect.  No one should call and ask for personal information without leaving a call back number.  However, some calls from this number may be legitimate.  Just be leary when answering questions.  If you are concerned it is a hoax, get a call back number and a supervisors name.  Most state entities have websites that you can check out the number and name.  If you call during regular business hours you can speak to that person directly.  Unfortunately state entities cannot do anything about this.  If it gets to be a problem, contact the Office of Administration in Jefferson City, MO.

I noticed a missed call on my cell from 8:09PM on March 1, 2012. Caller ID only shows the phone number. No voicemail was left. I highly doubt it's Tel Alumni. This is the first time I have received a call from a Kirksville number since I graduated nearly 7 years ago. Also, according to FCC.gov (where you can add your number to the Do Not Call registry) "telemarketers are required to transmit caller ID information and may not block their numbers." If you can't return a call to the number, that means it's blocked. So either Tel Alumni is breaking the law, or the call is from someone else.

If you're concerned or simply don't want to be bothered, contact Truman and request that they put your number on their "opt out" list. If the calls continue after that, file a complaint at FCC.gov.

Take me off of your list, whoever interferes with our evenings from what appears to be Truman State University.  If you are collecting money from the alumni,this is not the way to do it.   I will not be donating this year because of this persistent annoyance.

This is a Jeff City number. My family lives in the area code of this number, they have suddenly started calling several times a day and no one leaves a message. It's coming from a land line as well. SO whom ever it is needs to lose my damn number.

It is not a Jeff City number.  When it shows up on caller ID it says Kirksville..  When I did a reverse lookup, it couldn't give me any info other than its location is on Washington St in Kirksvile....
