I received a call from this numer telling me that there was a lawsuit against me when I said well if there was wouldn't I have been served with some type of paperwork, he said you have we've sent everything to your email, now since when does that happen, when I attempted to get more information and told him that if there was no real information he could provide because he wanted me to hold for the officer in charge of my case supposedly!!! then he hung up on me. beware of these bozos

I received a telephone call today from this number telling me I was being sued and a lawsuit was being filed against me. When I asked what it was for he stated for an internet pay advance. I stated okay, what pay day loan for what company. He said that I failed to pay them and could have to pay up to $8,000 if I lost, when I asked why this was the first I ever heard of this he was very rude and stated that he was sending sheriffs to my home and my job and that I would lose my job and hung up on me. When I called hime back he asked me "why the hell was I calling this number back, I told him I wanted to speak to his supervisor!" and he hung up on me again. I continued to call the number back but man just kept answering and hanging up on me, I have no idea what this is about or what I should do about it!!!!!!!

Received a call from this phone number at my place of employment. Some foreign guy that speaks very bad English left me a voicemail message stating I need to call them back and the info is time sensitive and they wish me good luck.

Glad to others posts! Received 2 messages on my cell phone and 2 on my work phone. Bother foreign sounding men. Both said to call back right away and if I didn't they wished me luck on what would unfold upon me.  Will not be calling back. Ones name was Victor Jones.

I just got a call and left me a message saying to call them back... so of course I did and the number that they called me back was discounted and I called the one they gave me and of course it was good.. told them I had filed bankruptcy and to stop calling me.. well see

I keep getting calls from these folks, also a man with heavy accent.  It is just ridiculous they claim to be with Anderson Law and Associates, they told me I was going to be put in jail.  I think the most of us have had some sort of internet payday loan in the past and that is how they get our phone numbers.  I called the law firm, they don't have anyone like this calling folks.....Scam, Scam, Scam!!

OMG.... I JUST got a call from them and I was about to cry. The guy mentioned jail and was very rude, he said that I was going to be served papers and put in jail. Something about paying $8000.00. People like this have to be stopped, he even knew where I worked! Thats insane.

Don't give them any information please, they had me going for a bit....Until somethings just didnt add up.

I got the same call and they left me a message and could barely understand they call from one number and it says it is a non existant phone line so I called back the number that he left in my voicemail and it went to a recording of a ladies answering machine that you could barely hear! So then he called back said his name was Brian Jackson and I had a lawsuit against my name and social security number, he transfered me to someone else that sounded exactly the same as him and his name was Kevin something I dont remember his last name he said that my case was going to court and if I lost in court I would have to pay $8,000.00 and go to jail for two years. But if I paid $1,245.35 by that night then it would all be droppped I was freaking out because I am a young single mother and my daughter doesnt have anyone other than me. When I went to Western Union they made me aware of what was going on and had me thinking clearly! Thank God for some honest people out there unlike the inconsiderate guy who wants to take a young mothers money when she dont even have that much I would of had to borrow the money from someone in my family!

I got a call from this person saying that they need to speak with me right away and that they have to talk to me right away and when i call back they said that they are going to have a officer come out to my house and take me to jail

These same people with very heavy accents have been calling me at work and on my cell since last Sept.  I have kept a list of the various names and phone numbers and reported all of them to the Fair Trade Commision online complaints.  Today at work, Kevin Peterson(?) called and left yet another message stating the same things that all of you have been saying, only problem is, Kevin Peterson has called me in the past from another number that I have previously reported and now that number has a recording on it stating that it is related to a scam.  They are very intimidating when they do call but do not send them any money or give them any information.  If there is more advice out there, please pass it on.

I, too,. have received these calls, and it's not the first time. When i answered, as he was ranting his introduction I told him I was going to stop him there, I know it's a scam, and he can call back when he can tell me the name and address of his office, why they don't have my legal name if this is indeed legitimate 9I got married, new name), and why they aren't following proper legal procedures and I haven't been properly served. I hung up, and they haven't called back yet.

ok just got a second call from this number.  it comes across my phone as 0000.  but they gave my husband the call back number.  I even went to the bank last time to get a copy of the bank statement and my bank told me about the scam.  do not give them correct bank info or say yes it is ok when they do.  They said do not say yes to the guy.  he will start withdrawing money out of your bank account

So this is a scam??? Yes i did have a payday loan and had several nuerosurgeries and forgot due to memory loss.. But yes i just got the call and decided to do an internet search on the number... I explain my situation and he did have all my info... And yes he wants me to go to a western union, or money gram on the 1stof july.. I asked him for a recieve code,, he said he had none.. Then i asked him well how am i going to do this? I asked him who do i make the money gram to?? He said i will get a call on the 1st and he will give me the name then.. Yes he threatened jail.. I laughed at him... I told him no jail is going to want to pay for my continuing neurosugeries.. So is this really a scam?

Just recieved call was told i would be in jail for 2 years and pay 8000 dollars. i just don't know if this is a scam or not.. He had me really scared. i am a disabled mother with a daughter.. Please let me know what to do?

im tire of this bull [***] im getting calls at work saiy that i have a law sute agains me and they keep calling me at work. today is weds june 15th came tomorrow im goine to the saddle brook nj police station and goine to file an harrasment complaint.
