Keep getting calls from this number asking for a Shirley Warren. Latest was from a man named William who was extremely rude and demanding. He would not accept that I was not this woman and when I said we had previously requested that we be removed from their calling list, his response was, " We will when you start answering our questions and stop lying to us." He then slammed down the phone. The name on the phone was HP Sears, which I am assuming is a debt collector?

Its definately a debt collection company HP Sears.

Caller says he's "mr bentley".  Gives callback as 6612830224

HP Sears.  Perhaps there has been some co-signing between friends or an associates or they put down names as a reference. Collection agents are desperate and they are trying any means to reach the debit-er.

They are a legit company, it is debt collections in Bakersfield, my friend used to work there.

I am receiving calls from this number without any message being left.

use a fictious name...continue calling,leave no message..seem to have other numbers also..the days they call I get many of those type

My business cell gets regular calls from this number. I tried to get em to stop. Answered hp sears. I call them back regularly.. on mute. Ties their operators up and makes em mad. If enough of us call regularly they won't have the people to field the calls. Hate it when that happens.. :)H

calls me frequently, usually leaves no message. Today however the message didnt ask but told me to call Devon at this number immediately. LMFAO. oh ok i'll get right on that

yeah i just got a bunch of calls from 661-283-0200 today. i called back and some girl asked me if i knew some dude. i dont remember the name she gave but it was totally fake. never heard a name like that in my life!!!! anyways, its just kind of annoying but i guess there's nothing i can do about it.

These people are extremely rude and are threatening to claim my assets. Im assuming they think they are going to get into my checking account and garnish my wages. WTFE! They are really annoying and i wanted to know if they are legally capable of collecting or are they just full of crap?

I recently started receiving calls from this number and other similar numbers (661-283-0241, etc.). Each time I answer they hang up = harassment. I did a search and found that it is an abusive collection agency located in Bakersfield, California. I have filed several complaints against them with the FTC (www.ftc.gov) for violating the DO NOT CALL law and I advise everyone else to do the same. They cannot keep calling you and harassing you. In my case we have no debts and they are trying to contact someone we do not know but they will not admit that we are not the people they want. If enought people report them to the FTC they will be fined by the government! SO, BE SURE TO REPORT THEIR CALLS!!!!!!!!

I received a phone call from 661283-0200-and her name is JESSICA GONZALEZ,, miserable person. She called at the end of her night and was trying to demand answers. She was way GROUCHY,, miserable thing....

Mine was from the same #, they leave no messages, I keep seeing this #come up 3 and 4 times in a week.  The people they ask for are not me as well as they are rude. Thanks to this site i can note it and just go on about my way. I will report them in the future. Its sad that thins like this force me to change my cell #.

I've been getting calls from this number several times a week. They even called at 630 am once! Never leave a message. Don't they think if they want someone to return their call that maybe they should leave a message? Not that I would call them back, anyways! LOL!

This is a debt collection agency. But they never say who they want and there are several numbers relatd to this one. Tehachapi  # 661-825-1543, Palmdale 661-349-7438, Woody 661-455-5054, Littlerock 661-944-6022, and Upland,Ca. These are associated with the main caller 661-283-0200 and what collection agency is opened on Saturdays and Sundays.

Get calls at lest twice a day.  No one there when we answer, or they hang up.  They do not leave a message if it goes to the answering machine-which we now let it do!!!!  Tried to call the number back-it never rings and then we are disconnected.
