This is an IRS fraud call recd in Arizona this morning at approximately 745 AM.

IRS was contacted and this number as well as (202) 280-7169 were used in the conversation with Ronnie Willis .  She was a complete [***] demanding cash and referring to the above 202 number.

Dont give out your personal info or pay.  The IRS will mail you official letters including registered mail if they cannot reach you before calling.

I received the same garbled voicemail this morning in the Los Angeles area at 8:22am, indicating the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.  I figured it was a con (the IRS doesn't file lawsuits, they audit, for starters) but just wanted to double check and see if anyone else received the message.  Thanks for posting.

I got the same robo message....that the IRS is filing a law suit against me!

Same robo- call at 1400.  A bit of a shock. Glad to know it's a scam.

Called at 5:15pm, same thing...to no voice claiming the irs was sueing me

Same thing - crackling voice message telling me to call immediately because I was being sued by the IRS.

Same call at 2:30 pm  today in Ky.

received the same type of garbled message at 12:01 pm EDT, advising me the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. I do not pick up to obvious scams, as I know IRS doesn't make these type of calls.  They'll send a letter.

We received a robo call on Wednesday, 7/1/2015 sounding very garbled saying that we were being sued by the IRS. We received another one on Thursday, 7/3/2015 with the same message but a better sounding voice. This time it was a female voice. We don't owe any taxes and the IRS always sends letters first. I'm glad I decided to research the phone number. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!
