I received a call today too and did not answer, no message left.  Any idea who this is?

This is the Environmental Defense Fund. If you'd like your number removed, simply call back and follow the simple prompts to do so. They will call from several different numbers, so it's best to remove yourself from their caller list rather than blocking whatever number calls you; trust me, I blocked 3 numbers from these guys only to get calls from several others. I like what they represent, but the continuous calls from various numbers gets really annoying. If I'm going to donate to your cause, I'll do so online and on my own time!

There is no need to call the 661 number ... it may, or may not be theirs.
The REAL Environmental Defens Fund has an office In Sacramento CA ... the 661 area code is for Palmdale, not Sacramento.

Unknown caller - saved to my Contacts as Scam-8 so I know not to answer.

Received a call from this number this morning. No one on the other end. Nothing but the number on my caller ID.

Caller ID said Palmdale CA.  I don't answer calls from places and numbers I don't recognize.  They didn't leave a message.  It might be a good cause but I don't do telephone soliciting.

I get calls from them several times a day.  I work from home and do not appreciate them calling though and having the 'beep' come through on the customer calls!    Also, when I looked up the number for the legitimate Environmental Defense Fund, this was not the number associated with them.  More scammers trying to get bank account numbers!

I wish they would just leave me alone!!!

I support EDF by signing petitions. STOP calling me to ask for donations!

No voice mail left - I am getting way to many of these type calls these days. I am on the DNC list to no avail. Government is broken. The NSA needs to track these law breakers down and shove  pins in thier digitus minimus manusat and up thier  hypothenar eminence.

received a couple of calls, did not answer since it's unknown to me. They don't leave message.

Leaves a message on my machine:  Asks for me by my first name, then hangs up when I don't pick up.

Calls nearly every night. Tonight it was at 8:33. Never leaves a message, and I don't answer unknowns.

Called yet again. Daily from multiple numbers. I actually answered this time. And I was polite. If they call again, I will not be.

I got this last night, and the call id said Environmental Defense Fund.  I looked at the call log and it said the location was in Thailand.  Definite scam.

Non-Profits and political callers are exempt from the No call list. Congress takes care of it's own.

The Environmental Defense Fund.  They've been calling my cell and office ad nauseum.  I answered and he said he was witht he EDF.

No reason to play here.

I don't answer unknown or people who don't tell me who they are. It is time to get rid of these kind of calls. I won't answer most of the called I get because I don't know who is calling.
