call from "MET" Who are they?

Received calls at home every day over the past week.  Have not answered the phone.

They are calling me on 408-991-9100 and 408-245-0370.

receiving lots of calls from this # . Never answered it . Message never left.  who are they?

they are soliciting donations for the Metropolitan Museum in NYC

I am a MET member, and I get calls from this number, and though I certainly understand the Met's need to raise $$ - this is amounting to harassment - they have called nearly every single day (sometimes more than once a day) for the past MONTH!  They never leave a voicemail!

It could be my NY Mets looking for their outfield. I am also a MET museum member. I called them and they know nothing about it. They are a pretty classy organization and don't think they would operate this way.

I think it's the marketers for re-upping membership at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

thanks for the info about the MET.  I'm a member as well, but when I researched the number, it is showing it coming from Cali.  I will call the MET in the morning...maybe if enough of us start calling them about it, they can research how all their member's numbers are floating around on some telemarketer's phone list

Thanks for the info - I support the Met by having a membership as I do not visit to take advantage of it ! Find it bothersome that they continue to attempt to solicit money.

It is a membership renewal call from the MET.  I answered and spoke to a wonderful lady.
