- JMT| 1 replyI made one donation and now they are relentless in their calls. I don't want to donate again because they'll pester me even more. Too bad. There are plenty of good causes out there, I'll donate somewhere else.

- toy cannonI often contribute to NWF but am having second thoughts after getting calls from this number now at least once per day for the past several weeks. I tried emailing NWF reporting this in case they were unaware of someone doing this. I've gotten no response leading me to believe that NWF is condoning these annoying phone calls. I let them know that because of their tactics that I no longer will contribute or renew with them.

- TomWe belong to NWF but the caller ID said Unknown Name. We may not renew if they don't leave us alone. We keep getting mailings and phone calls wanting more money. We wish we were as rich as they seem to think we are.
- Caller: Unknown Name
- TomWe get calls at least twice a week from this number. Today's caller ID was LA GLC.

- JanGot a call from NWF this morning. Told him, I donate but do NOT want phone calls, only mailings. If they persist, I will stop donating.

- Mary AndrewsCalls no messages and if I answer no one there. Annoying
- Caller: NWF
- MissMilly replies to JMTI`m related to 2 people who made donations. One died 5 years ago, one moved out 14 years ago. I`ve had this `phone number for only 3 years. Curse words apply now.
- ChuckThese people are relentless!!! You would think after calling every day after a month or so, with no answer, they'd get the message.
- Michigan contributorCalled and left no message. I returned call to the number and said it was National Wildlife Federation and a representative would be with me shortly--waited more than a minute and no representative-hung up. If they act this way I can elect not to donate in future.
Thank you.- Caller: National Wildlife Federation

- DEE REES Livingston Manor NYStupid way of getting funding. Bound to tick people off. Called NWF@ their headquarters on my membership card and advised them I didn't want any robo calls and they were going to make people mad. They are a good group are doing good things, they currently have some idiots that really think that MOST people will give their credit card info over the phone. I'd fire the staff and anyone associated with this kind of promotion.

- AltivoYes. Some 20 years ago NWF tried this kind of thing. I told them I'd stop donating. They called again, and I cut them off. Recently I broke down and donated again. Now they are calling every day, sometimes twice a day. This is a waste of their funds and will only infuriate their donors. I'm through with them. All my donations will go elsewhere henceforth.

- GusCan not believe the ignorance of people using phones these days. Hellllooo -- NWF is in Merrifield which is in Virginia. That is a long way from Palmdale which is in California. These are scam calls pretending to be from NWF. They do not make calls for donations. They are looking for people to pick up the phone an interact so they can sell your phone number to other crooks pretending to be someone else. That is how they make the money. The National Wildfire Federation does not do this and I am sure they are not happy to hear about these crooks either. Call hang up at 955 am on Wednesday, February 24. If they were wanting support they would leave a message. Get it now? Can you hear now? Do not interact, do not blame NWF. And -- the IRS is coming after you in big time now as well as "local law officers" to arrest you. Add those to the political calls. Ick. Just stop answering the phone. Ignore them all. Quit feeding the scammers money by answering; the calls will only get worse.
- Ex ProfessorI received calls from this number on March 18 and March 24. I had recently donated some money to National Wildlife Federation. Caller ID said NWF. Seems to me they are calling awfully soon after a donation. I don't answer calls I don't know, and this was no exception. Some people have stated that this call came from California, but NWF is in Virginia. May be a scam job, maybe not. However, understand this. I never donate money to anyone who calls begging. I don't care how good the cause is. If you can afford to run a boiler room operation, then you don't need my money, what little I have to give. So, don't waste your time calling because I won't answer. Gotta love caller ID.
