call from 661-748-0240 said they met me on a fishing trip..........it was a skype call

The number is automatically generated when the caller makes a call from Skype. It could be anyone.

Some Indian guy called and very rude and i asked him to remove our name from calling list he said he will not remove and keep calling. I wan to report such number for Harassment.

This seems to be a trunk number; calling cards, internet based calls etc. It can be anyone who uses such services.

This number is associated with Skype. I've been communicating with someone in Ecuador, this is the number that shows on my caller I.D.!

Number called my mother- in-law. Telling her it was my son and that he was in jail and needed her to send money. She started questioning them about birthdays and personal information about my son and they hung up. He also recently had his pay pal account hacked. Contacting credit bureaus tomorrow.

Someone from this number keeps calling me around midnight!  It is really getting annoying!!!  The first night they blocked the caller id so it came up as a private caller, then last night it said wankegame1 and the phone  number 1-661-748-0241...

Caller identified himself as attorney with Legal Aid.  Called my elderly mother and said my brother was in jail and needed bail $.  Wanted me to wire $ to a third party.  Too many things didn't add up. Sorry buddy. No $ is coming your way!

Someone called and I said Hello and there was no response, so I hung up...they keep calling this needs to stop. 661 748 0241

This number called after I called Facebook Customer Service.  I think they were trying to get info off my computer.  Feel violated by them.

Hangs up, doesn't leave a message ...

I just never pick up phones with weird area codes outside my state.... Simple as that. They will call once, twice.... If they leave no message, they will never hear my voice lol

This woman called me while I was at work and told me that her man was off limit to me. she would tell me her name or her man's name.  and when I started asking questions, she hung up.  the call came from this

This person called my house and then my cell claiming he had my cell info accidentally emailed to him now my identity has probably been stolen

Several days ago I received a call from a person with an accent that sounded Phillopino or India. They said they were from Microsoft and that my computer was hacked and he asked me to go to my computer and in my IP and other information and they varify and fix the hack. Of course I told him no and he hung up on me.

I get the "I'm from Microfost tech support " each time.  I told this guy I had the last call traced and the police were tracking my calls.  They would be showing up to see him shortly.  He called me an idiot and hung up.  Most are 3rd world SE Asia.

I when this number called me i had never seen it before and the caller id said palmdale area.

It's someone calling through Skype. I work at a church and this number comes up a lot when missionaries call.

This number just called and it said "Skype User" on the caller I.D.  I almost picked it up because I do have relatives in California with that area code. Instead, I let it go to voicemail just in case it wasn't my relative. I am so glad I did that. They didn't leave a message, and when I checked my address book the number was similar but not the same as my relative. Next time I will answer and see what happens.
