RECEIVED A EMAIL FROM ATTORNEY GENERAL TO MY WORK EMAIL.  STATING THAT I'M GOING TO HAVE A
WARRANT ISSUED IN 48 HOURS IF I DON'T CALL.  EMAIL WAS FROM A GMAIL ACCOUNT.  ALL STATE AND FEDERAL EMAILS DO NOT COME FROM A GMAIL ACCOUNT.  I KNOW PEOPLE WHO WORK IN LAW ENFORCEMENT AND COURTS.  I CONTACTED THE NUMBER AND AN INDIAN GUY ANSWERED AND IT WASN'T A PROFESSIONAL CALL.  I QUESTIONED HIM AND SAID WHAT BUSINESS IS THIS AND HE PAUSED FOR A FEW SECONDS AND SAID HE WAS WITH AN ATTORNEY'S OFFICE.  I TOLD HIM THAT HIS PHONE NUMBER WAS COMING UP AS A SCAM AND I WAS FORWARDING IT TO MY ATTORNEY.   HIS NAME ON THE EMAIL WAS JASON WALKER - 661-771-6451

I received the same attorney general message through gmail. I called and left a message. I also emailed this attorney requesting additional information about said funds owed. Have not heard from him as of yet. 02/24/2015

They are a real collector agency they are working for Cash advance America .
i also receive a same email and i just talk with my attorney also and local police department of Washington

I been getting the same to going take me to court over payday loan never got a paday advance . But there is a person did still my and my brother identy and thay got loan with our name and open checking account in our name. But was us. Hope she get caught soon tird of leter and email talking crap to us.

I received same email. Do not have pay day loan or any other. I called this man who swore to be real - so real he frightened me. Will ignore. Will appreciate other comments. Info not available below as was an email.

did the police department have any info on it?  ...I got a payday loan a couple of years ago...but it was taken care of.  What to do?

I got two of this the cop in Oklahoma said it was scam. They did a report.

Received the same email and threatening calls. I have never had a payday loan advance. Same attorney general letter but generic did not have my info on it. Jason Walker signature.

Received threatening telephone calls and emails from some guy telling me they would arrest me if I did not pay them money for a debt. I have not taken out a payday loan and the letter from the attorney general Jason Walker was generic and dis not have my name on it. They keep telling me Ai have 48 hours to respond.

Everything you have reported are illegal tactics and clear evidence that this is almost certainly a scam.  You cannot be arrested for debt, the so called attorney general is fake and their threats are all illegal. Best to mark the email as spam and block or ignore phone calls from this number.

661-771-6451, i just got a call and an emailed about owing a payday loan. I also asked him what the name of his company and he would not say. Stated that he woeks for the attorney general office. I told him do what he had to do.

I recieved the same e mail. And when i called he couldnt give me any information without my personnel information. I told him this was a scam. And if he truly was who he said he was to send me a letter in the mail. He claimed he didnt have my address, and i told him if your working with the FBI and Attorney Gernals office you should already have my address. All he kept saying was well i need your information to look it up. Nope not me.

I just got the same email and when I called a susan walker answered and she called me names I told her I had turned this over to the sheriff dept she hung up.

I JUSTRECEIVED THIS SAME EMAIL TODAY AND LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS A LITTLE SCARY, EVEN THOUGH I OWE NOTHING LIKE THIS.....THESE ARE THREATING EMAILS AND HE SHOULD NOT GET AWAY WITH IT....THE NUMBER I HAVE IS 661-771-6518...I CALLED BOTH OF THEM AND HIS VOICE MAIL CAME ON....I DID NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE...I COPIED THIS LETTER AND IF HE DOES THIS AGAIN, I HAVE SEVERAL FRIENDS ON THE POLICE FORCE AND I WILL CALL THEM.  WHAT A SCUM, NOTHING BETTER TO DO....GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL, AND I ONLY HOPE HE GETS CAUGHT....

I received an email from a "jason walker" stating he was from the "Bureau of Defaulters Agency " and a warrant  had been  issued in my  name.  Well,  I started to look on  line and  found so many scams  with this kind of email, and information.  So,  thank you all for posting your own experience on here. I found out that there is no such thing as the "Bureau of Defaulters Agency" and has been linked to several scams.
