This morning I called back the number hoping to talk to someone, but the message said the number was a non-working number. WTF..... How can we stop them from calling?

dj - 12 May 2008This is an automated phone number that calls a number to provide early warning that a) your car has been moved without the key pass, or b) the battery in your key pass is low or dead. If you still have your car, change the battery in the key pass. If you don't have lojack, then someone typed your number in incorrectly when they set up the warning system. Contact Lojack directly (look for the website) and explain what's happening.

Jim - 7 Jun 2008This number is an outbound trunk for Lojack Corporation. If a rep (live person) calls you from their California office, this is the number that will appear on your caller ID screen. I just confirmed this by calling a rep that I've been working with on a tech support case, and he confirmed to me that he called at the time I received the call from 661-839-1300, and that the 661-839-1300 number is what will appear on my caller ID when he calls me.
The calls I've received from the "Early Warning" automated call center all have come from 781 326-4700, in case you're interested.

Had an e-mail earlier from Lo-Jack warning that our car had been moved. The wife had it. Battery was low in the key thingy. S.O.B's called at 2:04AM, 4:04AM, 6:04AM and 9:04AM. Enuf already!
