    We pay for a "No Solicitor" greeting with Qwest that clearly announces we do not accept solicitations.  You must enter the #1 key to proceed.  This is a recorded call for "make money at home".  We did file a federal complaint on the "Do Not Call Registry" wherein we are listed.

    This was an automated telemarkting call and no way to get a live person on the phone to be removed from the list! I am registered with the DONOTCALL registry and made a complaint to them about this number. I hope they call me back so I can turn the number and complaints on file over to my attorney:)

    Well, well.  I did some reverse searching and found out who the owner is for this robo-scam.  By adding the phone number to Google, I found an ad they placed in the Santa Clara Free Classifieds.  The phone number matched and had the website, www.cashcowgetyoursnow.com I went to the site and saw "Financial Freedom" at the bottom of the page.  Did a little more referencing and found that it's a 1-Up Scam (google 1up scam to read about it) Then I visited WHOIS.com and did a reverse search for the owner of www.cashcowgetyoursnow.com and found the following information:

    Domain name: cashcowgetyoursnow.com

    Registrant Contact:

    Brian Bosch

    Fax:
    PO BOX 1161
    Canyon Country, State 91386
    US

    Administrative Contact:

    Bosch Bosch E-MAIL ADDRESS:  blbosch68@gmail.com
    6618576272
    PO BOX 1161
    Canyon Country, State 91386
    US

    Technical Contact:

    Brian Bosch (blbosch68@gmail.com)
    +1.6618576272
    PO BOX 1161
    Canyon Country, State 91386

    So, my suggestion would be to give Mr. Bosch a call -- I know I did.  He wasn't happy to hear from me and asked how I got his number.  Silly moron, don't register your domain name with your contact info.

    Thanks for the info. this is exactly what we need to do to these scumbags...
    File FTC complaint, then sue for monetary damages! Now that's financial freedom...

    Read the fine print on the National Do Not Call Registry. Listing your number will NOT STOP ALL CALLS. The FCC & FTC both state this, as does the Registry state it. All of these false claims will get you into trouble, & not the people that are calling us, so make sure you know what you're doing before you do it. The company(s) have 30 days to remove your # from their own company's list. The National Do Not Call Registry specifically states this was invented to lessen (limit, reduce) the amount of calls we get, not stop them.

    Check it out: http://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/do-not-call-list

    The FCC says, "Pursuant to its authority under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the FCC established, together with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), a national Do-Not-Call Registry. The registry is nationwide in scope, applies to all telemarketers (with the exception of certain non-profit organizations), and covers both interstate and intrastate telemarketing calls. Commercial telemarketers are not allowed to call you if your number is on the registry, subject to certain exceptions. As a result, consumers can, if they choose, reduce the number of unwanted phone calls to their homes.

    Do-Not-Call Registry

    You can register your phone numbers for free, and they will remain on the list until you remove them or discontinue service – there is no need to re-register numbers.

    The Do-Not-Call registry does not prevent all unwanted calls. It does not cover the following:

    calls from organizations with which you have established a business relationship;
    calls for which you have given prior written permission;
    calls which are not commercial or do not include unsolicited advertisements;
    calls by or on behalf of tax-exempt non-profit organizations.

    There's much more to read. Get informed. It's much better than to keep dishing out the wrong information. I learned the hard way. Don't repeat my experience.

    The DoNotCall list is of no use.  Instead, file your complaint with the FCC, at least after a certain number of complaints, they will act on it:  https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088!createComplaint.action

    Tired_of_BS_Calls!
    Called Brian & he claims to be the ex-boyfriend of the Owner of 800notes.com & then he refused to talk to me & hung up the phone on me & he thinks that I'm in some way affiliated with 800notes.com & he further states that he doesn't want any solicitiation calls from 800notes.com Yeah Right! He just doesn't like the fact that I took time out of my day to call him & put him on the spot. If he was legitimate (as he claims to be) he wouldn't have gotten all defensive and hung up the phone. Everybody should continue to call him & keep his phone ringing all night long!
