They call up claiming to be an attorneys office and if you don't pay them in a timely manner the authorities will be sent to ur employment to arrest you. They did have the name of the place I worked but wrong state and wrong soc sec number ...they tried to say I owe $1899.89 for funds on a payday loan (which I never took).
I told them I'd come to their office to pay and discuss this but they clam up and try to get you to go to 7/11 and western union to send them money.....
They answer with "this is a law firm"

Just got a call from these guys claiming to be a law firm in which I owed money to there PayDay loan store. And if I didn't pay the full amount of $659.82 that I would be arrested on this up coming Saturday. For a civil law suit. I was told I was contacted multiple times via e-mail. Which by law I must be given something in writing there mail not e-mail because that is not secure. Once I started asking question, the person on the phone began to get frustrated with me. I continued to ask questions because it's my right if these issues were true. The guy on the phone then hung up on me and told me to get ready to be picked up. I was like umm ok.

I keep getting calls here at my place of employment and I have had about enough. Who do I call to report these ignorant people with their fraud. I know for a fact that I don't owe any over $8,000 dollars. I just find it crazy that they know some of my personal information.

They have been calling my job, and cell phone saying that I owe money for a pay day loan, which I have no knowledge of. When I told them that my lawyer would contact them with a harassment charge if they continue to call me, they hung up. I told them never to call my phone again.

All a scam, phone message left that I call them back or else and threaten legal action. They are just trying to con for money and personal data. It's not legal to make threats over phone for legal action without issuing anything in writing.

    Really?
I missed a call from 662-743-0402. They left a message for me to call back or else and they said "good luck"! I called back from my work phone and the guy couldn't even find me in his "system" with my telephone #. I gave him my name and couldn't locate me. After being placed on hold after 2-3 mins I hung up and called again. Same person. He answered the phone with "Attorney Office". I said I was returning a phone call because apparently I have a balance I need to pay. His attitude quickly changed & wanted to proceed with the payment process. I hung up. Total scam. I do owe a payday loan that is in collections. However, I think my info was sold to these people and they are trying to get more money. I actually have a payment plan with the company I owe so I'm not sure why I'm getting these calls. Anywho. Just beware!
