Does anyone know who this is?

I got a call from the same number. They gave me a whole talk about how i'm a top 10 finalist in a publishers clearinghouse sweepstakes, and all i have to do is sign up for a magazine to claim some prize. They said they'd follow up with another call and they need to verify my credit card information to verify that I'm eligible. It sounded like a classic identity scam to me, so I politely declined. If it's legit and i just turned down some free stuff, oh well. But better that then having all my credit card information stolen.

I got the same call. Stating I was a 25k cash winner and that all I needed to do is verify my credit card information with the sweep stakes manager that was going to call me right back in a secure private line. After my unexpected called I rush and Google the number and read your post it made me realized I was getting scanned. The supposedly manager did called back did several intents and never left a message Thanks for making this entry and making me more aware.

Got  a  suspicious  call on  4-28.

Just a mystery call and hang-up. No conversation.
