Calls and ask for name then says to hold on and then hangs up!

I got exactly the same.

Call came in as uknown and I ignored this call... a few seconds later I got another call with the same number except with a few more digits before the #.  I answered and it was my boss calling from out of the country.  Some kind of International Re-routing service.

I received a call from this number at 5:40p and they hung up as I answered.  I found out from the Web that this area code is Montserrat.

This number has been calling us for the past 2 days, They are calling announcing themselves as part of the "coyote's". The situation is the coyote's are people who smuggle other people in from the country particularly Mexico. I was told by my father that what they do is look up people's name randomly and they call you stating that they have your family, and in order for them to come into the country they want you to send money. Because we speak spanish we understood what he was stating initially. Announcing himself the first night as Carlos Peralta, next day Daniel.

my mother got the same exact call and they told her that they
were coyotes and need 1000.00 in order to get her "cousin" across
the country. they kept harassing her and asking for money then i googled
this number 664-133-4000 turns out there a scam. and basically trying
to get your money from western union.

I got a call from this number and chose not to answer it, but then when my answering machine picked it up and I listened, it was my husband calling on
his cell phone.  He happens to be in Mexico traveling on business.  So I agree that it is a routing number of some kind.  Weird, tho, because usually when he calls me from there, I just get his regular cell number on my caller ID.

My entire family has been receiving obscene phone calls from 664-133-4000
for the last couple of days. They are stating that they have a family member of mine that they have smuggled from Mexico. Yet they refuse to name this member of my family. But in order to deliver this so called family member it's going to cost my family $1800. After refusing to acknowledge their claims, they said they were going to deliver this so called family members head in a box....I can go on and on, but just know that all of this is FRAUD. These people pray on innocent people who have loved one's in Mexico and fall victims to their Fraudulent claims...JULY 28, 2008

Someone just called me 5 times and when I answered the didn't say anything. I looked up the phone # and this is what I got. That's strange. I wonder if it was a prank. Stopped kids.

I received this call at 2:48pm, and a girl asked for a 'Linda', I told her she had the wrong number, and she hung up... About 5 minutes later, I got another call, but when I answered, they hung up

I had a misscall from this number and i was trying to find out from where was this number. Looks like i didn't miss of nothing...

I got the same call at 6:47 am and they asked if I knew someone coming to the united States. They were speaking Spanish.  I thold them they have the wrong number and they mentioned my last name (probably listed in the phone book) they asked me what time it was here. I the told them to call me back in 15 minutes because I was gonna find out. I called my husabnd and he said it was [***].If they call back I now know its a scam and I won't answer!!

It is definitely a routing number, I was in Mexicali, B.C., Mexico and I made a call to my home from my cell phone while in Mexicali, when I got home I went thru my caller id and found this number, (because of this site) I checked the times on my cell phone and my caller id and confirmed that it was me calling my home, my recommendation is if you know somebody traveling in Mexico its probably them, if not it may just be a wrong number they dialed.

I received a call at 11:29pm eastern standard time.  As my son had just let on a mission trip to Mexico I was concerned and so I redialed the number.  All I got was that my phone was off the hook.  Now I am concerned that they will run up charges on my phone number.
