They said there was a problem with my computer downloading things from the internet.  I asked for the company name and number so I could call back.  When they said "Calling won't back.  I need you to get on your computer and I will walk you through the problem." I hung up.

This person asked if I was the main user of the computer at home. I told her to be specific. She kept asking for how many computers at home and if I was the main user. I then asked where she was calling from (I meant the company). She answered Las Vegas, NV. I immediately hung up.

SCAM caller from this number.  Got my real name and address.  Said I owned a microsoft computer.  Was trying to get me to sit in front of it and do stuff.  Im an IT guy though. ;-)

Told him I only run LINUX workstations.  Said he caught me lying! WOW!
SCAMMER! Really bad and rude one too.  Very thick accent.   Told him to F off.

This moron just called me.

Was asking me if I'm the person that pays my internet bill. Told me that my pc was generating thousands of errors when I'm online and he needs me to go on my computer on the phone with him to check things.

He was persistent in wanting me to do what he told me to on my pc. I finally told him I'm a systems engineer and he needs to explain to me in technical terms exactly what he's talking about.

He then hung up on me.
