Guy said he called because my computer needed fixing. Told him nothing wrong with my computer and hung up. Spammer.

Called me and did not say anything ?

Caller fabricated computer ID. He wanted me to turn on my computer. When asked what the problem was he hung up. Freakin scammer

Got a call and the guy spoke with a foreign accent and said his name was Robert. Said the word computer and I hung up on him. Why can't this government of ours protect us from this type of bull [***].

Man with a foreign accent kept saying hello mama can you hear me several times either wrong # doubt it or another scammer most likely.

Got a call from 668-115-6486 saying they were calling regarding issues with my home computer. I have not reported any issues so I hung up.

Got a call today from this number. The man had an indian accent. He asked me if I was the owner of the computer and wanted me to access it for him. I had already heard of this scam, so I confronted him about it. He bacame very beligerant with me and asked how I knew it was a scam. He didn't like what I had to say about what others had already posted about these calls. He was very rude. I told him not to call this number again, and I hung up.

Did not answer and they hung up before answering machine started.  So tired of these spam calls every day!

Caller had an India-type accent.  He said that he was receiving error messages from my computer.  I told him my computer was fine and I was not giving him any information, I then hung up.  Scary part, he did call me by name.

There is no 668 area code, and no numbers (in the US and probably also Canada) use the digits 1 or 0 as the first digit following an area code.

If you look up near the top right of this web page (or the top right of this column of this web page, depending upon whether your device's browser splits this page into multiple columns) you will find that it says the source of this call (if the number is not spoofed) is Thailand.  I agree with this assessment -- 66 is the country code for Thailand.

(1) Because the complaints about this number only started showing up (on this site, at least) on the same day you posted your complaint, which, by the way, was only yesterday, a Sunday.  It's still only Monday morning here.  Be patient.

(2)  Because the government is busy today protecting you from things that you can't protect yourself from, like foreign terrorists.

(3) Because the number appears to be coming from Thailand and will probably require the cooperation of many governments to trace back to its source.

You can protect yourself, though.  The government guarantees you the right to bear arms in the Constitution, so go out and by a gun and shoot your phone.

i told them it couldn't be my computer, because i didn't own one. lol
