I keep getting a call from the above phone number stating they have my our son in the Santa Clara County Jail.  They have called over a dozen times on our landline and cell.

I am continuously getting call from this number stating an inmate from Santa clara Jail wants to talk to me. They just keep calling. How do I block it.

This is obviously some scheme as they called us at 5:30 and 5:46 am on New Years Day and we live no where near this area

Got this call on my cell phone from the Santa Clara County jail. Message was in Spanish. All I understood was to press number 9, so I assume it was a collect call.

This number was referenced on the most recent bill.  I

Call number is unknown but appears to be fraudulent in nature.

Same number showed up on cell phone bill originating from Hollister CA as an incoming phone call lasting 13 minutes.

NOT A SCAM. The call will say "you have a free call from __(name)__ an inmate from the Santa Clara County Main Jail. To accept press.." IT IS SOMEONE THAT KNOWS YOU THAT GOT TAKEN TO JAIL. They are allowed 2 calls to who ever.. bail bonds, family, lawyer, etc.
Area code 669 is an add on to the 408 area code in Santa Clara County. The 408 ran out of new numbers. 669 has been new since 2012 or something.

I think this is a scam. I've had two "calls from someone in prison" from two different numbers (this # and 800 434-8314) within the past two hours.

How do you answer the calls. What number do you press.

I got a call from a prisoner pretending to be my girlfriend and the call cut before It said the number I could block it with. I am also 15 and have never had a girlfriend in or out of prison, so this is especially worrisome to me.

This person is person is constantly calling and looking for her dad and sister.

This person was screaming on the phone at me and telling me to free them from hell.  I'm so scared.  I'm calling the cops.

Caller ID said "OFFENDER CALL." When I answered, an automated message came up saying "Your call has been rejected." I hung up after I heard that.

I did not answer nor was a voicemail left. A lot of users say this is a prisoner calling... I do t know anyone in prison, so I suspect it's a scam.

Called them back. Says it's a local county jail number. Don't know anyone there.

This is a 100% scam. DO NOT call back!!! They are pretending to call from jail. It is a trick to get your credit card info!!  No matter what anyone else says. This is a scam. They have been known to get on diff sites, saying they are legit.
