caller id says ibm global services fraud

So it was IBM Global services last November?  Hmm. . . this August it's “Horizon Marketing” on behalf of some organization that is hoping I will host a foreign high school aged student – a message I received a month or two ago.  I didn't catch the name of the outfit because their robo-caller began its spiel before my voice mail kicked in, but I checked it out last time (different number) and found it to be bogus.  Why wouldn't it be?  They cold-call me and want me to opt in.  Their approaching me in this manner, without any indication of interest on my part, only tells me that their motive is something other than the good of young people.  No vetting of this old creep, just asking me to become interested.

Even if this were legit, I have neither the room nor the resources.  I guess I could give Coach a call.

I wonder what scam will be run from this number this coming winter.  Stay tuned.

Crap.  I was shutting this computer down when I noticed that I had replied to the second entry to my query on Google.  I was reporting on the number 202-800-5567.  So disregard.  Think I'll try another browser next time.  Opera?  Firefox is okay but annoying at times.

No way could it be my error.  I haven't made any stupid mistakes since over an hour ago.
