    I too sent a photo of my son into Banana Bana and was selected to be in the book titled A Wonderful World of Baby. We ordered 1 copy and were promised late May delivery. When we checked on them in June we were advised they were still shipping and would have within 2 weeks. It is now 10/2/07 with no books and no replies from banana bana. Yes I am too very interested in fighting them!! I have sent them numerous emails and received no responses now-the last response was on 8-15-07. I just sent them another email to 3 different email addresses-Now I am out $50 because of this

      I am afraid I am also a sucker of the banana bana baby contest. I ordered 5 books in January for the same title -wonderful world of baby and got the same response of the printing being delayed etc. The last email they sent me was Aug. 8 stating that they would ship in 2 weeks, now they won't respond to me either. Does anyone else have any more information, or is anyone in the process of fighting to get money back? I have filed a complaint with the BBB of Atlanta, I don't know what else to do to get my $247.50

        Joleen, I too am victim of Banana Bana Baby.  I ordered my book after receiving the notification my daughter's photo was chosen back in May. When August rolled around and still no book but my account had the money withdrawn, I began to send e-mails and leave phone messages and never once out of all 12 attempts did I receive any response.  I then filed a complaint with PayPal who ended up ruling in my favor.  However, being there is no money left in BBB's account, there is nothing to give for refunds.  I then filed a complaint on 10/1 with the Atlanta GA office for the Better Business Bureau.  Banana Baby has until 10/16 to reply.  Unfortunately, I am not from the Atlanta area where this is a widely known scam.  There are news casts from the Atlanta area, investigations, etc.  Too bad I was not aware of this prior to placing my order.  Yes, I am very upset because I was scammed but I'm even more bothered by the notion they use my beautiful child against me.  I definitely feel your pain.

      The best idea I've heard and followed is to file a complaint with the FTC(federal trade comission) theytrack complaints and have more authority to force a business to resolve consumer issues. Please all who have been taken by Bannana bana file. Lets get our money back!

          I too was Scammed I filed a complaint with the BBB and it appears they have gone out of busniess and i have lost 53 dollars BBB told me my case was closed because the company never responded and have gone out of busniess.

            I was also told that my case was closed due to the company closing up shop. I wonder if I can find out the original owner and place a lawsuit against them. I am sure that there are several people out there who would like some compensation for their lost money and time.
