This is a debt collector called Focus Receivables.  They were calling my cell phone erroneously. They cited another person's name and a different home phone number associated with my cell number, which I have had for the past 6 years.  Manager's name is Malik Hamid.  Callers are ignorant and rude - pronounce "both" as "bofh", etc.

This is a debt collector called Focus Receivables.  They were calling my place of employment threatening to speak with HR or my corporate office.  I informed her that i could not take calls at work and she called the following day. I filed a complaint with the FTC Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov) and Attorney General’s office (www.naag.org)

Focus Receivables is calling my work number asking co-workers to speak to my direct supervisor to report my collection and threatening to report my collection to my HR department!  I have filed a complaint with both the GA Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs and FTC.  I do NOT have to put up with this kind of harrassment or threats to my employment from a debt collector!!

Focus Receivables was the name on the caller ID when I answered, thought it sounded like a cute boutique or something.. a robot lady proceeded to tell me that she had an important business message for me and not to hang up (why did I listen to her?), and then gave me an 800 number to call back and was about to give me a reference number to call back on when it hung up. Obviously they have called this number by mistake because this is a business with about 100 employees, not a residence, so I called the number back and Mrs. Anderson's name is on the other end of this number, which is obviously a direct dial for her. You should all give her a call and see what she is up to today. Maybe ask her what she had for lunch? Ask her why she keeps calling businesses too..I would never give that message to anyone. These folks have a lot of nerve and absolutely no soul. In a more stringent corporate environment, they could potentially get these employees fired, and that is just not going to happen while I can stop them...

They better not call me again.

I think it's against the Federal law to harass
people in error.

A Dept Collecting company called Focus Receivables seems to be bogus or just plain dumb.
Here are a few of the numbers that have been calling me.
678-228-0012 and 678-228-3073.
It seems like too many people are complaining about
Erroneous calls.  i.e. They do not check to see if they are even calling the right
Person,  or someone is just giving them a bogus number to call.
Either way, I think that enough people have a similar type of complaint
And I suspect that they are breaking the law  in some sort of way.
Can you all please help put a stop to this nonsense.

I received a message from this number # 678-228-0012 and she wanted me to call her back by the phone number # 800-457-5362 x904. I searched in google and found down that this phone number from a Chinese web site:

I just wonder that why this Chinese website has my phone number?

Pay off that debt and the calls typically stop.
