Sergey - 23 May 2007They call my business leaving rude messages asking to call back at 800-935-1139. The messages are addressed to someone we don't know. The company name is NRC, a collection agency.

Jan - 26 Feb 2008I want everyone to know that should go to www.fcc.gov and turn in a formal complaint on this company. Even if there is a fee involved. The people will have to show up for court and pay fees. This is very serious and they should be stopped. I have just filed and it would be nice if others did also. You can make a formal complaint where they have to show up or just an informal complaint. Please get serious and do this. Thanks.

Chuck - 29 Aug 2007Older woman called from this number and got very rude on the phone. Called for me but I never say that I am home, because it is always a collector. I asked what company she was from and said I was not home. She said, "Well you went through all that to tell me he is not there. You ask a lot of questions!" Then she hung up on me!

not here - 22 Oct 2007keep getting these calls and my phone service do not block calls any more and this is most up setting when we go to bed early as we sometimes have to be at work at 2 and need the phone on incase work calls to let us know we are needed earlier than 6

ed - 4 Dec 2007got a call today on a cellphone which I've had since April--the number used to belong to someone else who has apparently been a bad debt problem. I get so many calls for her (and her alias apparently) that I have largely quit using that cell and have gotten another cellphone number. I still keep that number though because several customers have it and use it to call me. They are a debt collector apparently and have been bugging me for the last 3 weeks--night and morning every day including Sundays. I don't answer any more.

Ghandi - 7 Jan 2008This company is Nations Recovery Center. They don't generally want you to know who they are or that they operate at the margins of the law. They use predictive dialing software and are basically a sweatshop debt collector. They do have an 800 number (8009351139)which the rebellious among us can take delight in posting, well everywhere -- and we can call that number from every public phone within our reach. We can engage them in fun conversation or just let the public phone off the hook -- whatever turns you on. It's time to fight back!

Of course they should be bowing under your pressure because it is so much more important for you to strongarm people into paying whatever debt your sniffing around instead of something inconsequentials, say - feeding their kids, paying the mortgage - little things, right? Do you even understand households have been devastated by the economy??? Honest, hard working 2 income families left with a single income after one has 27 years in with a company that folds or lays off because of the economy - like the Big 3??? You have a right to treat them like that??? I don't think so...

Judy - 26 Feb 2008Thank you! I'm with you on this. I am posting it and I own several websites. I am going to change some key words and pull anyone I can over to give out the number. I also think that if the companies that hire these guys knew how rude they are and that they don't even have the right numbers they would not hire them to do collections. That is what my goal is. Advertise so companies won't use them. There are better collection agencies and with more professionalism out there. Judy
