Called back, and someone answers and said it was "arbitration"

It's another scam bottom feeder debt collector. Whatever you do, do not call them back!  Block their number and you will be done

it said i was accused of fraud, and that  .  I should give my information to my private investigator that was on the line.  Nope !

I got this call today on a payday loan, said they were filing felony fraud charges, defrauding a financial institution, said pay all or going to proceed. I said whatever, best you can do is civil judgment, she then hung up. I called back to get address info and have been on hold. Don give these freaks any current info, a good collection agency will have verified info before calling. Letter attempts first. They said my DOS was 9/2010, and gave an address I had in 2008. I have made it easy for anyone looking for me. Get real. Got to be better than that.

They called and I knew it was a scam so I had alot of fun with them. You should hear how frustrated they get when you call them out on this. Here in Kentucky it is illegal for someone to threaten criminal charges to try an collect on a debt, they really did not like the fact I knew this.

I got a call from the same number, when I answered there was a message that immediately plays saying I have had arbitration charges filed against me and to press one to speak with an investigator. I did not and just hung up and immediately googled the phone number and found these other messages. It's a scam.

I got the same "check fraud filed against me message" regarding arbitration.  I know this is a ruse trying to get me to respond and give my information (from an invalid debt collection bought from ridiculous T-Mobile).  Add them to your blocked caller list and keep it movin.

They just called my wife's cell phone and left a message -- same as everyone else is saying --" fraud - bad check - etc. , etc. " I believe it was for a payday loan . Which we did use many - many - many years ago . First of all it is against the law in Pennsylvania to use these pay day loans . You would have to go to Delaware to apply for one . So even if you do owe , I don't think that you can go to court or jail or whatever . ( if you live in another state ) --- By the way - if what i said is not accurate - please let me know -- cause i don't want to go on thinking that they can't do anything . As a matter of fact , it has never been on my credit report ( to my knowledge ) .---- And they are not very professional either . So until Someone knocks on my door with a badge , they are not getting any info from me !!

I guess we all ( the last 3 or 4 posts ) were all in a row on their call list . Funny -- we all turned to this page which is very helpful . Don't worry about them .

The last couple of posts are all today ( March 10 ) . And we all turned to this page .They can't do anything to you except keep try to scare you into giving up your personal information . Don't ever !!

I got a call today from them The caller-ID said "Bold Ideas"...I'll say.  They left an automated message re: the same check fraud B.S. as others described.

I just received the same scammer call. Check fraud/Arbitration.

got the same call you all have check fraud or whatever ive noticed in a bunch of these calls the problem in question is always over 5-7 yrs old debt it comes off your credit report after 7 and from lawyers that i have spoken to about this they cant come after you

Caller ID said Bold Ideas, same ol bs about bank/check fraud. The fact that people still think this is a viable scam is amazing to me. Who falls for this crap? Anyway, they were calling for my brother and I informed them he doesn't live with me. She said oh ok, sorry about that, I hung up after that. I assume they are going to keep calling lol what idiots. Still waiting on another chick who called for me telling me she was going to serve me that day (this was over a month ago) lol.

I got a call today from that number saying arbitration.. I just wanna find a way to make these people go to jail. It's harassment in my eyes and annoying

I got this call to today..  I am glad I googled this. As I am trying to figure out check fraud?  From where. Now I know its scam indeed. From all over the U.S. They use various different area codes and phone numbers. So anyways here is a link on more of this company in Rip Off Reports.

Received a call from them today saying I passed 3 bad checks of a Payday Advance Loan.  Then stated I banked with Bank of America, which I told them I do not and never had.  They then said it was their error and the bank was Essentra Bank, which I have never heard of before and therefor, have never had an account with.  Will be reporting this number immediately.
