This lady named Samantha representing pinnacle asset management called me & left a message saying she has a file on me that will be sent to my county here in California next week and I will be taken to court for criminal charges of felony check fraud & deception could have fines of up to $10,000 & up to 3 years in prison according to penal code 476 here in the state of California. Is this true or should I worry? Can a debt collector sue? Can pinnacle asset management threaten me to pay them?

LOL yeah I got a call from them today, March 25. Left me a voicemail at home, and at my office. Call back # 678-264-2353. Same ridiculous spiel about Texas Penal Code & felony check fraud, and how they'll file with the county in a few hours citing "negligence" unless I call them back. I don't owe any debts at all except for maybe 2 old payday loans I never repaid during a really bad time in my life a few years ago. Assuming this is for an old payday loan, in which case bad check law is completely inapplicable. So, LOL on them. Please note that you cannot go to jail or be charged with a felony for unpaid debt. We don't have debtor's prisons anymore! This is nothing more than a scam, some bottom-feeding collections agency that has purchased an old debt and is trying to scare you into paying. I will say that, to their credit, the collections agent who called me actually did speak clear & proper English, unlike most.

This same lady named Samantha representing pinnacle asset management called me too & left a message at my job saying she has some return items from my bank and criminal charges of felony check fraud.  I’m not going to lie they are scaring me but I know I didn’t do anything wrong. This scam stuff is crazy. They try to be so slick. I got another # representing the same company that called my cell phone from the county I live in all yelling I better call her back today because they know my address and they are coming to my address.  Has anything ever have anyone come to their job or home?

I am only twelve years old! Why would I have any unpaid debts!

On Saturday, Oct.4, 2014 at 2:47P.M., received a call from Teresa Gordon for Suzanna, "She needs to speak to Suzanna by 3P.M. Federal law that she only talk with Suzanna that she has a criminal file in her office.  If she don't here from Suzanna by 3 P.M. on Monday, we will try to locate her."    About a year ago my daughter had the same scare message, owing on a pay day loan, which her step-dad paid the loan 3-4 years ago. (we have our receipts)   Did my research on phone number and found a block of 678-264 numbers are being used in a scam....First call was from Mrs. Braswell...now from Teresa Gordon using phone number 678-264-2353.   so scary.....lol

I posted back in March, but a "Denise Jordan" called me yet again today and left me some kind of threatening message about a criminal case filed against me, how they need to hear back by 6 PM EST or they will "attempt to locate" me. Ok well, they're welcome to come rolling up to my front door & knock - I'll be happily waiting. I don't owe any debts - I did have a very bad financial period several years ago, and I had a lot of payday loans, but everything is completely paid off. I have receipts. I owe NOBODY except my mortgage, which is completely current. These people are scammers and nothing more. Do not call them back, do not bow to their pitiful (illegal) threats! Report them to the FTC, CFPB, and everyone else. And please, for the love of all that is holy, do NOT send them any money!

I got call today from PAM management, the name is Mr.Butte. He stated that he wanted my side of the story, what story???
Don't know what he want, but surely will find out. Telephone number is 678-264-2353...

I got a call from Mr. Niko left on my cell phone.....has file, blah blah blah......I have had something similar happen once or twice a year  for the last several years.  I spoke with an attorney who confirmed this was a scam and that I should report this company, name and phone number of the caller to the state Attorney General's office.  Enough complaints and they may stop their scamming.

Here's word for word, their message, "Hello this is Mr. Nico speaking.  My direct line is 678-264-2353.  I'm calling from the Fraud Division and this message is intended for you.  I have a file with your name on it and I'm calling to notify you of all your available options.  Please contact me as soon as possible, I am your current representative.  Thank you. Have a nice day."

Interesting side note:  The name that came up on my caller ID said, "Kemba Broadnax - Atlanta, GA".

I just got that exact phone call from Mr. Nicko. He is calling my job leaving voicemails at work. There has to be something I can do or it has to be against the law for someone to do this! What to do?

I got the EXACT same message 5 minutes ago... "Hello this is Mr. Nico. My direct line..."etc. word for word the same. However he referenced some man's name that is not me (I am a woman). I deleted the VM. Not worth anymore of my time. Scammers!!!!
