Left message: Calling regarding enforcement action instituted by US Treasury

Dennis Quaid with a foreign accent voicemail from the US Treasury. I am in trouble and to return his call.
The 678 and 470 area codes are an overlay of the 404 and 770 area codes (those two covering separate areas for landlines, 404 covering primarily Atlanta proper and 770 the remainder of the metropolitan area).

Same as the above comments.  Sheesh!  Must think we are morons!!

That there is a judgement by the Treasure Dept. Need to call so the party calling can assist to resolve.  Received similiar call a few months ago regarding my Tax returns that I owed over eight thousand dollars. Another scam.  Same caller with the same accent. My guess is that they try and scam seniors.  They must think we are a group of brain dead people. Well guess what, we are not.

Got the same call saying they were the Treasury and I was in trouble.  Does anyone know of a Federal agency that can be contacted to stop this fraud

Twice today with in 2 hours.  Thick accent, could hardly understand.  Said treasury was taking action.   Hung up, quickly, both times.

Left message that I was in trouble with the Treasury.

Caller say  they want to help them help me...... sure!!!

How about that, Dennis Quaid's working for the US Treasury? The names these clowns think up are hilarious. Might ask him if he's still doing movies and about show business?

similar circumstances; actually threatened me with arrest and jail time. Said if I did not take care of over $6,000 owed to the IRS, I would be arrested within the hour and would be handed a jail sentence of 6 months with no parole for tax evasion. What a jerk! I am a senior citizen and know about scammers, but this guy was really good at the scam.

got a similar voicemail  ending with help us to help you - which was really cheesy LOL
these people should go get jobs and stop trying to steal from others

Dennis with foreign accent said we were in trouble with US treasury.  If we didn't call back it would be  a 2nd offense and punishable with jail time

Experienced the same sort of prank call as all other on this list.  Message left was a guy has heavy accent that is hard to under stand, other than "US Treasury we can help you" sort of thing.

Ha! I got a vmail from them too yesterday. Clearly recorded as the message started part way through the 1st sentence. What a scam!

I got the same message from the 678 number 2 days ago.  I tried to call them back to ask for their co-ordinates for my drone attack, but just get a busy signal.  Yesterday I got another one saying a lawsuit has been filed and telling me to call a number starting with 0.

US treasury does not anyone. Total scam. Cuss them out and hang up on them.
