Called and left no message. When called back just heard a click and phone hung up. Another scam.

Its the USPS Call back number. They wont leave a message, and you cant call that number back because  a robot kills the call.

Called several times. I tried to call back and it just hung up. Then they would call me back. I answered twice and the recording said, this is (blank) if you would like to accept a call from (blank) please press1 or to leave a voicemail press #. I doubt seriously this is USPS...they would have said how it was and blanked that part out. Scam, scam, scam!

It is the post office. They called me back after I left my number for a callback.

Called me over and over. It's an exchange number from Allegiance Inc of Georgia. Call them to complain and they'll pull the account. Be nice, they have as much control over their accounts as a phone company has over theirs. In other words, if you make prank calls, is it your phone carriers fault?

several (5+) calls in a 20 minute span rang my private cell phone from 6782797980 on April 3. Two of the attempts somehow resulted in entirely silent messages for 3 minutes. I called back with CID blocked and the robot says "our office is currently closed" click. I'm not sure that I have any outstanding business with the post office for them to be

It is the post office.

This is a legitimate USPS number which is used to call you back when you file a complaint about online services. It is used as a convenience to customers, instead of making you wait till a rep is available they call you back, when a rep is available. It can take from 30 to 45 minutes to get a return call, and when you get the all they are very polite and helpful. I know how unusual that is when dealing with government agencies, let's give them credit when they deserve it!

Its the USPS callback number.  If you have received this call unexpectedly, then someone must have mistakenly entered your number for a callback.

P.S. Allegiance Inc of Georgia must be a carrier company where the call is originating from. Not a scam.

It's the Post Office customer service callback number.

It's an automated call back, which you requested, from USPS. You will hear silence, but you need to hang on for about 10 secs, and an automated message will begin speaking that will lead you to a customer service rep.

This number is a USPS customer service. I talked to the customer service rep. You will have to wait for the system to initiate. The first two calls from this number, I rushed into the answer but did not wait long enough (few second for the system to initiate, I hanged up and thought it is a scam. However, on the third call from this number, I hold for few seconds, the system start and lead me to talk to a helpful customer service rep. I got my lost package filling in the process. And the local post office called me after couple hours.

Pizar. It is USPS. You should only get this call if you called them and requested to be call back vs. waiting on hold.

Definitely the US Post Office call-back number. I called the 800 number today and had the option to leave my number for a call back instead of waiting on hold for an estimated 20 minutes. They called back from this number.

USPS Callback. I had scheduled one but when this number came up three times while I'd gotten involved in another conversation, I didn't pick it up because it was local and unknown (I was expecting it to be an 800 number). Fortunately when I called back, there was an opportunity to re-initiate the callback.
