- curiousi keep getting getting calls from this number, and it was freaking me out a little. it makes more sense now knowing that it is an hp call center, cause i just had to get a new charger for my computer. i had no idea though cause i have a pay as you go cell so i never answer it, and i was getting calls pretty consistently from them and i live in canada. seemed weird to me.
- disgusted (ex) HP customer| 5 repliesAfter several weeks of phone calls to HP tech support, they finally determine that their machines will not work properly with digital telephone lines and agree to take back the printer/fax equipment back. They promised a call from the sales/returns department within 48 hours. As usual that never happened. Then a week later I miss a call from this number. No message is left... When you call this nu,ber back you need a "7-digital HP rep ID" or the call automatically terminates.... nice..... Back to square one with these idiots!

I told I solved the problem with NO FREE help from them(HP). - dah2010-08-12 -- That *is* HP's support call center in Canada.

- Sandra| 2 repliesI was promised the world from "George" who is a tech at this number - but he's actually in India. I believe he's a salesperson dressed up as a tech, though. The copy fax scanner was not delivered as promised and he did not call back as promised. The subsequent phone calls with scattered HP people all around the globe was quite distressful after almost two solid hours of baloney.
I was told the equipment did not ship, but would ship, and maybe arrive the next day, and if not the next day, then the next day. EXCUSE ME!!!! How is it that one HP person has the clarity to tell me that I have guaranteed delivery by 11 am next-day-air and different HP people not know from day to day??
Well, I wonder if I have now been involved with an HP scam. I've relayed messages to all these people around the globe to please have this "George" tech call me. Where are you, George? You sure didn't mind calling me over and over to get my credit card number and cinch that sale!
And now, the package is somewhere in the Atlanta area, and Fed Ex can't tell me where it is becasue it came in late and couldn't be scanned for the proper tracking. So, I'm still WAITING for the "deal" to come to my door. Deal - it is NOT. Don't fall for it. I have wasted more time and energy and heartache trying to believe these people.
I used to enjoy my 7410 cfscanner, and now with this MISERABLE experience, I am suspect from here on out about HP. They have a lot of mending to regain my confidence.

- SamI no longer need HP help. I have instead purchased an Epson product. Please remove my name from your call list.
The repeated, unending calls to my number are beyond annoying!- Caller: HP (?)

The repeated, unending calls to my number are beyond annoying!- Caller: HP--??
- MissyIf you are getting these calls on your cell then add the number to your reject number list. Normally you can find this in your call list (history of calls), hit options and there should be a reject list option. Hope this helps.

- Leeman replies to CR| 2 repliesIt is HP support calling to see about renewing my laptop support, they have an annual cost only which is high. They no longer offer a 3 years suport whih much cheaper and more convenient.
- HP Sales Guy replies to SamThank you for your interest, Susan. We have received your request and will now call you twice as often. Please let us know if we can assist you further.
- Ex HP-Tech replies to disgusted (ex) HP customerYa, about 2.5 years ago they pulled the printer support location from a fairly good Canadian location to Mumbai, India. The main reasons were not due to cost. It was because my old buddies there kept up the tradition of being reasonable and listening to customers. Which got us in trouble all the damm time because we kept on kicking dead printers and such up the line for replacement.
Not to mention we kept on calling the parts department on their [***] after they moved it to the Dominican Republic. The actual HP product is generally a good one. The problem is everything else to do with them is done by a damm marketing committee instead actual engineers and techs. - Barbara replies to LeemanThank you for the info!! I'm in charge of a fundraiser and am always afraid when I have a missed call that I missed a donation.
- Nancy KentI hate call backs wanting you to buy more products when they give you a hard time now covering the original warranty. I hate even more when they leave no message saying who they are. So i don't call back when I don't know who they are.
