This number just called my job his name is investigator miller representing mauconduit luna company. They are calling me stating that I am frauding the bank for a online payday loan(cmg group) that i thought i paid off last year through another debt collection agency (the lombardo davis group) whose number is no longer ing service. They are using all the scare tactics on me, like felony charges, being served papers, etc....I dont know what to do, please help....... By the way this is the 4th debt collection company contacting me about the same loan for cmg group.

A man named James Miller called and told me he is a "fraud investigator." He was very rude and yelled at me over the phone. He said I borrowed from a payday loan company and never paid them back so they are pursuing fraud charges against me for fraud. He said they will just come to my house and arrest me! When I asked him to provide documentation that I got a loan, he adamanly refused and said they "don't do that." I told him never to call me again. I also told him I do not believe it is a crime to have debts!! I contacted We Stop Debt Collectors online and a very nice gentleman, Mr. Adam Hill, who is an attorney, called me back. He said this is a scam and to not to pay these people any money. He said the more I talk to them, the more they will harrass me.  He said just not to talk with them at all, to ignore them! He said they are justing hoping that one day I will get tired of the harrassing calls and pay them! I'm taking Mr. Hill's advice and ignoring them in the future!!

don't  pay them anything...all you have done if you havent paid this debt is default on a loan which isn't a felony and they cant have you arrested..now they could pursue a civil litigation to get payment but most of them (payday loan co.)  won't because they charge in most states more than the legal amount of interest rate and a lot of courts look at these  loan companies as loan sharks..i know in the state of tn. there is a limit to what they can charge.

I have been harassed by Mr. Miller!!!!!!! I paid Lomnardo Davis group also like the emailer up above.
How can I get these fraudulent phone calls and emails to stop?!?!  Can anyone help? I am located in Pa.

I was scammed by the same people that you were!!! I paid the Lombardo Davis Firm and they are no longer in business or opened up under a different name.  Now I am being harrassed by Mr. Miller at CMG & Associates. I  dont owe anyone money. Not sure how to stop this harrassment!!!!

Mr Miller with CMG calling about fraud on my checking account, under my driver license & soc securtiy number.  I did not return the call.  This is the message he left on my VM.

I just recieved a second call for this "Investigator Miller". He said he was trying to get ahold of my sister and proceeded to tell me that my sister has not paid the payment arrangements as was agreed. He also called in July and talked about criminal charges. I told him I felt like he was breaking confidentiality by telling me this stuff. He said because I was supposedly put down as a reference they could share the info he shared. My sister said she has already paid the company for the loan and doesn't understand what is going on. Ugh!!

I got same call and he threatened to turn me in and arrest me. He didnt know anything on the account and knew my social. I called police and they confirmed he is a scam. Now I put fraud alert on my social. why isnt he being stopped.

I am in Texas and received a call from a family member in Ohio saying Investigator Miller contacted them with information regarding a fradulent loan applied for by my daughter (also in Tx), but using my fathers information (who lives in Ohio) as a cosigner. The two have never met, and never knew each others full names before this Mr. Miller called. Can someone explain how this kind of thing can take place please? i have two sides of a family up in arms right now over something that no one can explain

I just got a call from this invesitagor Miller for the same problem, saying he was
Going to be felony charge against me by tomorrow if I didn't call back today.
So I called back, and I asked him to send me paperwork of this loan which I knew nothing
about.  He said they sent it already, so I said I never got anything
And I asked him to send it again.  He got upset with me and ended the call.

A few minutes later he called my neighbor asking for me. If he calls again I am calling my Attorney General.  How do we stop this from happening to so many people from this firm?

Lalanda Hill, who goes by Ms. Rohi, is the person who set up agreements outside the boundaries of the FDCPA. She is acting out as a result of being terminated. So while she is giving out inaccurate information, she will eventually feed into her own demise.

The use of any business, company, or organization name other than the true name of the debt collector's business, company, or organization

The false representation or implication that an individual is an attorney or that any communication is an from an attorney

The false representation or implication that the consumer committed any crime or other conduct in order to disgrace the consumer

The Attorney General will boldly bring a class action suit to companies who actively conduct business in this manner

This so called company CMG Check Fraud  has been calling my ederly grandnother in Mich. telling her about a check that a pay day loan wasn't paid by me in 2006. They are using    Advance America name to get a payment. I did have loan with them, but it was paid 6 years ago. I setup  to pay a certain amt, and paid 1 pmt and I started getting more calls from them, so now I will not respond to them at all. They use 2 diffrent number 4042207611 or 678-325-1538 use name as William , Jmaes Miller, Mrs. Brown and Mr. Hardy I ahve reported this to Ohio State Attorney Office.

same story still getting calls even after i settled with them, saying i still owe , told them id see them in court. Not even about the money anymore just plain harassment

Just got a call from the CMG & associates!  They say that I owe a thousand dollars from over 7 years ago?? I know these people are scam please watch out for them!!!
