I dunno ever since I texted shotime a poll question during a Strikeforce MMA event I been getting a few odd calls. Its either that or school loans. rofl

I'm getting calls from this number once, twice, sometimes three times a day, and sometimes within an hour of each other.  I only answer calls identified by my caller ID, so I don't know who it is or what they want, as they've never left a voice mail message.  I'm getting pretty fed up with it.  We need to find out who's behind this number and make them stop.

i got a call from this number early this morning and they left no message also been getting alot of calls from iowa and they call constantly but never leave a message who are these people.

Calls numerous times a day and never leaves a message. When I return the call I can not get through.

Yes, after I initiated contact with US Dept of Education about working out a plan to get out of default status, they immediately released my number to these idiots who call at least 20 times per day over the last week. I haven't even got the form from Dept of Education yet they are suppose to send me. Hopefully it will stop after I submit form with payment agreement. This is ridiculous!

Got a call on my cell phone--no message.  Have no idea who they are or what they want.  Never had a student loan--I'm 69 years old!

This is a place called CBE Group.  They are a collection agency.  They started sending me nasty collection letters and calling my house over an outstanding student loan that wasn't even mine.  None of my information except the basic name which I go by my middle name, but is not my legal name which is what I use on my loans.  It took me almost 5 months to get these people to send me verification of debt and stop calling me.  All these jerks did was google the bacic name and found me and my address and started sending me junk.  If they would have googled the real person's name including the middle initial like I did, they would have found her w/in 5 minutes locked up in a jail in KY.  Good luck to you if these people are harassing you because it's probably the wrong person.

called cell phone, would not talk.  I called back and they said CBE Group.  Collections, they wanted a name they couldn't even say.  told them wrong number and told them the name the phone is registered too.  now lets see what happens.

i havent had my new cell phone three weeks and im getting call for people that must of had this number....please people pay you damn bills. it not fair for people like me to be getting calls for you dead beats.but they give me the names and i will find you and turn you in so they can starting calling the right person

I've gotten calls from a different number, by the same group. I have absolutely NO student loans. I was lucky enough that my parents paid all of my bills. Two years ago I had a debt collection company call me about students loans from my Freshman year, and I was a senior at that time. There is no way I would have made it to sophomore year without paying those bills. If this keeps going on, because I've had the same issue as Eric with the # of calls I've been getting, then I'll just have to contact the BBB.

These people call my cell phone all the time and never leave a message.  I have NEVER had a student loan and don't owe anyone any money.  Wish they could enforce the do not call list....it's a complete waste when companies can keep on calling and nobody stops them from doing it.

I keep getting calls from this number several times a day and have no idea where that area code even is and dont know the number either.

I keep getting calls from this number up to 3x a day!! It's soo annoying. Once I answered the phone but didn't say anything and a recording came on. It said something like this call is for (person's name) if you are not this person, please hang up. And something like they are a collection agency. I don't even know how they got my number because I've had this number for 4 years now and I don't even know who that person is that they're looking for. I didn't get the name of the company that called, all I heard was "collecting a debt". And right before this number kept calling me, which has been straight for 2 weeks now, another number (319) 242-7353 had been calling me and the calls had overlapped until this 319 area code stopped and now this 678 one keeps calling me. I think they are the same company.

The call was from CBE Group, and I believe it was for debt collection.  I called them back, and actually talked to a person who was very polite in fact.  He asked for a name that I suspect had our phone number before it was assigned to us.  When I told me we didn't know the person, he said that he probably had a wrong number.  I assume they won't call back, but if they do, I can block individual numbers and will block this one.  That seems to work well.

get numerous calls from these people a day including at night when im trying to sleep! i've paid off my student loans these people will not stop!! and they never leave a message and will not identify themselves if you answer the phone. very fishy if you ask me!!

This is a debt collection agency. I have been getting MANY MANY calls from this number. I got fed up with it and called them...They were looking for somebody that I don't even know. I told them I bought this house a couple years ago and I don't know where the person that lived here before is. I asked them to take my number off their list and they said they would... We will see.. If they continue to call I will report them.
