I don't answer numbers i don't recognize. no messages left. they have called a few times this week alone! my number is in the do not call. guess they can't read.

I receive a call from this number. The person on the  other end could hardly speak English. She said she was from Microsoft and they noticed my comuter was sending out a lot of error messages and wanted information from me on my computer so they remotely fix my computer. At that point, I knew it was a scam, and did not give her my name or anything. So how would she know who I was, she did not! Microsoft does not do business this way.

got call today also...didn't answer it and message on recorder was garbled..not English

Initial silence when I answered phone, so I suspect it was a robo-call. Caller had a heavy foreign accent and misspoke my name upon answering. Must have been surprised I answered. Others speaking in background, so I also suspect some sort of call center.  Couldn't understand him, so I hung up.

It's Been A Great Day For Scam Calls!!!!  This Is A Classic!!! We Received A Call From "Unknown" According To City ID....That's Strike One. We Answered -- Heavy Foreign Accent, Muffled Speech With Lots Of Background Air & Noise...That's Strikes Two & Three Right Off The Bat!!! We Still Let Him Go Thru His Spiel Though. "Kevin Anderson" Calling From The "Computer Maintenance Department" Of "Let's Assist" (Check Their Track Record Online). They Have Been Authorized To Work With Apple & Microsoft, & Wanted Us To Give Him Our Computer IDs & Log On Info In Order To Check Our Computer For Maintenance Problems. Asked "Kevin" Where He Was Calling From & He Said Florida. Asked Him Several Times For A Callback Number, & He Finally & Reluctantly Gave Me 760-283-1715. When I Questioned Why He Had Just Given Me A California Number After Telling Me He Was In Florida, He Said, "Sorry My Mistake I Got Mixed Up, I Am In California" LMAO. We Told Him We Would Call Right Back, Then Hung Up. About 5 Minutes Later, "Kevin" Called Back, This Time From 678-365-0281. He Asked Me Why I Didn't Call Him Back, But When I Countered With Why He Was Now Calling From An Atlanta Number When He Just Said He Was Now In California, He Told Me That I Was "Playing Games" Then Hung Up On Me!!!!  We Love This Sh*t!!!!!!

Got same call. Told caller it was a scam and he hung up on me.

caller had a very heavy foreign accent, and I had him repeat almost everything, just so that I could understand him. He continually asked for my age, and surgery history. He claimed that because I had a surgery in the past, that I was eligible for a very large compensation. when I asked him how this was so, he kept hounding me for more personal information. I refused to tell him anything personal, and then he hung up on me.

Didn't leave a message but could hear them on the line.  Scammer I beleive

I'm definitely blocking this #, after reading all of these posts..

scam has changed.  now a robo call saying my mastercard has been locked from making out of state purchases and I need to press one to fix it....hung up,

I answered, and was told my PC was reporting issues (I have a Mac, and this is the oldest scam in the book, so I knew it was a scam right away).

I asked, "Do you sleep well at night?"  The caller hung up.

Just called me.  Caller ID said "Atlanta, GA."  Did not answer.

just called me asked for me by first and last name...mumbled something then hung up.  i called back several times there was no ring tone.

Just called me. Very personable male just called. Gave his name as "Tom ______."
I said "We are inundated by scammers. FULLY identify yourself with a complete name and the company you are calling for AND the PURPOSE of your call.   ***You have a VERY SMALL window here..."
He chuckled politely and said "I need to speak with _______ (my name.)"

[=His company has a computer and they are data mining. =How precious is that?]

I  replied, "You have 4 seconds to comply..."

I hung up.

just got a call from this number. Caller id showed unassigned number. recorded message from community bank said I was a valued customer they needed to talk to me gave an 800 888 ???? number for me to call them back.

I received a call from a man named "Mike" from "Geek Squad" saying that my computer has been affected by something. I asked him how he would know something like this, and he didn't respond. So then I asked what his name, company, and contact information was. He responded with Mike from Geek Squad and then hung up on me. I think it was a scam.
