Number calls multiple times a day. When trying to call that number back, I got a couple of touch tone beeps and then silence. Subsequent attempts have resulted in busy signals.

These scum are a phony charity operation.  They use predictive dialers, hence all the "no one there" calls.  If you get a person they'll tell you that they are going to be in your area and ask for donations of unwanted household items.  They claim to be collecting for various groups - veteran's, retarded citizens. learning disable, who knows what else.  The stuff ends up being sold in a store my family jokingly refers to as "Badwill" (as opposed to legitimate operations such as Goodwill).  The money ends up in the pocket of some low life scamsters, with at most, a paltry amount being donated to  a charity to keep law enforcement off of them.  The local news has done exposes on them.  Pre-expose the caller ID said "Cure Clothing", now it says "Pick Up".  They ignore requests to take you off of their calling list.  If their is a hell, I hope they are all cast into its deepest pit.  Other numbers for these creeps are: 6784059617
