Called several times, refused to leave a message. I get these all the time in my area. They are annoying. *60 will block them on Comcast.

Keep getting calls from this number which is labeled as Cell Phone. Never anyone there.

I am a single mom coming out of an abusive situation with my four small children. HOPE HOUSE literally saved me from this. My children and I live in a safe and nice residence, I am working and will be starting school for a nine month certificate degree in the next few weeks.

The clothing donations help support all of our families needs.

Please support this organization, there are so many people out there like me that need HOPE!

My 3 children and I has spent 60 days in the domestic violence shelter, but I didn't know how to restart my life. I called HOPE HOUSE and they have taken my case. We have a safe place to live, my kids have received new wardrobes, they have relocated schools, and I can now focus on the future.

I am getting my CNA license and now I can support my family with stability and empowerment.

HOPE HOUSE literally gave me hope.

They just called and ask me would I do a donation, I said not at this time and the man started laughing and hung up. I don't need to explain myself, but I help every year. May not be with this new organization, but my money get passed around....that was very rude.

He ruined it for the company for the next time they call me. Spread the word. Money is too thin in this lifetime...trust and believe there is other places that would gladly take my money.

So, if this is indeed a legitimate outreach and charitable operation, it's an incredibly stupid and unprofessional way to go about soliciting donations...you know, having an unidentified cell phone caller who leaves no message...repeatedly. If that's the way their management thinks you get things done, sorry, I'll pass on giving them anything. Idiots.

Calling repeatedly from an unidentified cell phone and leaving no message probably won't get any donations from anyone. These are tough times, and though I'd like to support a program like this if legitimate, your solicitation procedure is simply idiotic. Think about it...would you give anything to some mystery caller on a cell phone? Like I said, idiotic to even attempt it this way.

A man identified himself as Frank with Hope House and said a truck will be on our street Dec 28th for clothing donations. Would I like to donate? I said, I would have to get with the rest of the people in the house. He said, he could call back at another time. I said, Okay. He then asked for my email address. I replied, I do not give my email address out. I would be leary of a "NON-PROFIT" calling from a cellphone first of all. Cellphone bills can be costly, so we got a non-profit organization using cellphones (costly) to call people asking for donations???  And by reading previous post from other people, the number is registering as a cellphone number for them too!!  I worked for a Non-profit organization before and I do not ever recall paying a cellphone bill for anyone within the organization. And I also have a complete understanding why the feds monitor these types of organizations too. Way to many scam artists, nowadays you cannot tell who is honest anymore.

How ever being a pest by calling the same residence every day .
Forms  bitterness in people that DO Give to charities...
So when you become a pest to said person,
they feel as if,
you could be the last charity in the world,  
and you would still receive NOTHING due to the Constant daily calling.
We know people are in need , so have a little respect for those you are asking to help.

I totally agree with "Fed up with telephone B.S." and everyone else who complained about them not using a legitimate caller ID for their organization.  If you call with crafty intent, then I believe you are a crafty and shady organization.   And I just love all of the posts from Hope House posing as people who benefited from them. Even shadier.

I love to make donations to different charities around Atlanta, but I boycott any charity that calls and calls and calls.  At that point, you have become a stalker.

Leave me a message.  Let me know what you do and where to go for more information.  I will call YOU to schedule my pick up.  You guys are your own worst enemy.

Never did pick up on specified date. Called yesterday, told them to forget our donation, I took it elsewhere, and not to call us again. Tonight another call. I want it to stop.

so why are they allowed to keep up the harrassing phone calls?  I will NEVER donate to them, ( and yes I donate to charities all the time).  they have called me every day this week and when I answer they hang up!!!!  Then I call them back and get a recording that says they are accepting no messges right now!  I dont care who they claim to be helping, they are goin g about getting help for their non profit the WRONG way.  I too HOPE they stop calling me.  Next time I file a police report for harrassment.

I am glad you got help from these people.  Wouldn't you want other people to get help too?  To do that Hope House needs donations, and to do that they need to stop the insane way they solicit them.

If some stranger calls you at 9 am every morning and leaves no message, you begin to think it is a thief checking to see if you are at home.  Maybe the person is as violent as your husband/boyfriend.  We simply don't know, because we don't know who is calling.  Hope House needs to leave a courtesy message is all.  

We understand how great organizations like this are. That is not the point.  They are annoying - and quite frankly, disturbing.

I got a call from this number this morning, identified on my phone as Hope House.  No message was left.  I was curious about Hope House, so I checked on the internet and found this site.
